Just don't be Weird!

Good Morning--It was kinda a crazy night--The TV went out--  A friend called and told me that a train had run over a cable , near here, so our TV stopped--And later on, I could hear talking in the living room--knew it was the TV , so came down to turn the volume down- Living away from  big time civilization,  causes all sorts of weird things to happen, I guess--All seems well this AM--

It was very warm  outside, yesterday--just like a summer day---and to-day is beginning the same--  and another odd thing that is happening here, is--the hummingbirds are still here--  very odd! They usually are packing up , and leaving this area  by the end of August--certainly by the end of September--But it has been a warm "fall"--  and I trust them to know what they are doing--

Gil, the gardener guy, was here yesterday to clean up the garden by the back fence--so, next Spring I can plant flowers where the weeds and tree roots were. and it was very hot in the yard where he was working--He also hung a new vacuum on te wall for me--a cheap version of the Dyson--  I bought it from Amazon and it seems very easy to use--I like it!--I just might give some of these away as Xmas gifts--I believe it ios made by "SHARP"!

so, I hope that you are  feeling happy to-day--ready to face the world--

---------after all, we do have the FREEDOM TO CHOOSE What WE Want To Do--the true luxuries in Life--which are, TIME, SLOW MORNINGS,  and, the FREEDOM TO CHOOSE WHAT WE WANT TO DO---

I hope that your day is the best ever--

  1. Good morning, sis.
    We're both early today.
Your vacuum looks really cool. I am glad you found one you like.
It's lucky you have Gil to help with the yard work.
I am always weird...according to some people.
I am in a rush. Have to get gas and then drive over 40 miles to the Veteran Administration Medical Center. I am having a test that will make me swallow barium to see where that blockage is in my esophagus. Later in the day I have an appointment with my PCP. In between I can shop in the duty free store and eat in the cafeteria.
I will be back to check later. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  2. It's Kathy. I'm glad you got your vacuum put together and hung on the wall. It looks like a very handy one. I've been thinking of getting a new vacuum - mine works find but it's kind of heavy and sometimes hard for me to push through the house. With little Daisy shedding all the time, I should be vacuuming every day! We are still in this heat and humidity - too uncomfortable for us to be outside working. It's suppose to cool down by this weekend - then I'm hoping for some nice crisp fall weather! We still need to get our house painted before it snows!!! Take care and have a lovely day!

  3. Hi Lynda! It is 83 in Ohio and we went to our county fair for lunch. Only a few miles from home. Lots of good food. I had a hummingbird land on my geranium by my dining table as I was sitting there yesterday. Wish I had my phone close for a pic but I did not. Glad your tv is on and vacuum is good to go and your garden space. Hope you have a great week! Hugs!

  4. Good afternoon, sis.
Well I drank barium, water and more of each multiple times. Blockage found. They gave me a tiny pill toward the end, and they couldn't make that go down, either. The x-ray docs and techs are sending a message to my GI doc.
Hope you're doing well and happy so far today! {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  5. Hi Lynda, your vacuum looks very much like mine, which I think is also a Shark. I love mine, when I need to use it instead of my iRobot Roomba robot vacuum.

It's 86 degrees here in Central Ohio, but low humidity, so I'll take it! A very nice day, only we desperately need rain. Everything is dry, dry, dry!

I'm sorry about your tv. I use Roku. And then the streaming service I use is called Hulu. I dumped cable tv a long long time ago.

  6. Happy that the TV is back on. I don’t watch much TV but do check on the weather and news at least once in the day.

Hope you joy your new vacuum. I use our rechargeable Shark often. It’s so handy.

Oh I love slow mornings. Don’t get many of them lately, but I do enjoy them when they happen.

    Let’s make Monday count!

  7. I was very happy when the restoration company said they could clean and return my Dyson cordless stick vacuum! I love that thing! Except with all the new carpeting in my house it was having a hard time vacuuming the new carpet as it was so plush! But it is better now that I have used my Shark corded vacuum to got over the carpets several times...so my Dyson doesn't
t struggle to push over it! I still need my son to come and attach to to wall like it used to be! It is so hard to try to replace everything here to make it like it used to be....but I just try to take one day at a time and get the things done that are pressing....but I feel like I am making progress! I just wish the restoration company would bring me the last load of boxes and stuff that they are still cleaning so I could be finally done with them and can move forward at making my home my own again!
