Make it yer best day ever!

Bet you thought I was still in bed--LOL
I am "UP"---
-  I had to change the bed--so it took longer upstairs than I thought it would--'specially when the bed is almost the same size as the room--- I was thinking that I certainly do not need a King Bed--It's just Sushi and I in it--but--it does remind me of Fred-- and I kinda like those thoughts-- but--It sure is not an easy bed to make up, in this tiny house!

Well, so much for all that!--
Slowly--ever so slowly, it is getting cooler----I know that winter is knocking at our door--I must find someone to clear the driveway after a snowfall--To-day, they predict rain off and on--but it is feeling cooler----plus leavers are falling--

Last night, out I went AGAIN, to Son#1's home, on the lake-- AND I STAYED AGAIN, for supper--I am so happy to eat with people-and one does eat, when eating WITH people--When I eat alone I usually do not eat much--
The Canadian Thanksgiving will soon be here--It is up to me to make the Pumpkin Pies--That will be interesting in my tiny kitchen--I can do it--but I will have to be a tad creative--'specially with an oven that I am not used to using--I love making homemade  Pumpkin Pies , so hopefully I can make this oven work
Sometimes when one is not used to an oven. the temperature  of that particular oven, can  ruin the crust----I shall make it work however--at least I hope!

So, They are saying--  to-day will be a rainy day--  I must quit this and get wee Lopez out. He has a new Jean Jacket--It looks so cozy--

a blast from the past--a picture of Himself and I , taken our local newspaper , because that paper had interviewed the 2 of us  shortly after we moved here --It must've been winter eh??--Look at the Partka's on us!!
above is a picture of where I am presently sitting--in this tiny house.--Talk about using ALL the space eh??--
So----I must get Lopez out--I hope that you muster up all your strength to-day--and try very hard ton make it your very best day ever!--
YOU CAN DO THAT!
WE CAN DO THAT!!!

  1. Morning Lynda,
They are calling for possible rain here today and for the next 4 days. We haven't had rain in weeks so we need it. Everything is so dry.
I know how you feel about a tiny kitchen. I call mine Barbie's galley because it is so small, not a lot of counter space or cupboard space. Both of my previous houses had big open kitchens and I miss that. I do hope to move one more time when housing prices come down, if they ever do. That will be my final move.
Glad you are getting to spend time with Son#1.
    Have a great day!

  2. I am thinking about you living in your tiny house - and I realize how different it must be for you. There are times when I think I need to be in a smaller place as I am now living in my large completely remodeled & restored home. I am overwhelmed at all the furniture and bedding and household items I need to purchase to get back to brand new home....but so much work. And the hardest part is being a widow and having to make all kinds of decisions on my own...I really struggle with that. I agree with you that eating alone is one of the hardest things that happens when you lose your hubby. Everything is harder. Hang in there dear friend, I would love to tell you that things will get better, but that is not true, but eventually, you learn to accept that this is your life now and your choice is to live the best life you can, trying to remember the good things you still have, like your kids and grandkids! Hugs!

  3. Good morning, sis.
It's partly cloudy here and rain this afternoon. It will reach 70F, though.
I love that first meme! Sounds like most of us, I bet.
Happy your son and his welcome you for the evening meal. I don't eat much either. Sometimes I can't finish a frozen entree.
Your little office nook is really cute...and that photo of you and Himself...perfect. That should be displayed somewhere...if you can find room.
Will you post a photo of Lopez in his jean jacket?
Have you met with the grief counselor yet or are you just going to do the classes.
I went to karaoke last night and stayed a couple hours. I can't make it til 11 or midnight anymore, it seems.
Have groceries to pick up today. And I am going to use the foot spa today, too. It's just like going to a salon. Don't you just love Amazon?!
Back later, Lynda. Enjoy your day. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  4. Good morning Lynda. I don't understand why you would need to hire someone to clear your driveway when it snows. As a renter, I would think management or the owner of your townhouse would be responsible for that. You should bake something in your oven prior to baking the pumpkin pies, that way you will know if the oven works properly. Prepare a meal and invite a friend over to share it with you. Prepare a meal and invite one of your sons and his family.

I hope your day goes well. I would gladly accept some of your cooler weather. Here it is still in the 80s and 90s. I want Fall weather.
