Good morning, Lynda! It is 52 this morning in Ohio! I bet Lopez looks so cute in his little sweater. I want to get Tommy and Kloi one. My husband thinks that dog clothes are silly. LOL He is from Minnesota so he thinks a winter in Ohio is like spring in Minnesota. I hope your son has a wonderful birthday. Do you get to celebrate with him? That would be nice. Enjoy your day whatever you do. Big hugs!
ReplyDeleteLopez has next to no fur--so it helps to keep him warm--Nice to find yu here this AM_-Lynda
DeleteGood morning, sis
ReplyDeleteYes, I like the font a bit larger...not huge, though.
Is there ever something you do because Fred did it? He may have 'told' you to do it. Ever smell him? Get a glimpse 'out of the corner of your eye', feel his touch on your body? See a cardinal? Those are signs, too, besides the ones I have mentioned already.
It's only 58F here, but full sun! It will be 75F this afternoon...and the fleece lined leggings I ordered are coming today. Guess I won't need them today...yea!
Your day seems to be going well. I can just see Lopez in a sweater! I crocheted a harness and leash to take Lucky for an exercise walk! It was a disaster. Soon as we got out in the hall, he scratched at the door to get back in the apartment!
Gonna eat breakfast now, Lynda. I'll come back to check later. Loved your comment yesterday. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
Good Monday Morning Lynda,
ReplyDeleteIt's cooler here today but it's going to be sunny all week. Yay!
Today is grocery shopping day after I get my workout in.
My Mom is still with us and she is 88 years old. I do find myself doing and saying things that are things my Mom did or said.
No matter how much we say we are going to be different from our parents when we were younger, we are like them in lots of ways.
Happy Birthday to Son#4.
Have a great day!
Jackie
Nice to see yu on here early also--busy in the AM--Sushi had litter all over the place -took me lotza time to clean it up--so--what size font??--Hmm--I am going back and forth with the font-- This seems so small-- Hope yer day goes well-Lynda
ReplyDeleteCute story about Son #4; hope he has a joyful day! My parents gave me the tools to be strong, independent, and resourceful and I am forever grateful to them! ❤️ Karen (Eissa7)
ReplyDeleteIt's Kathy. I actually had two of those surprise pregnancies. My DH said we could only have 2 children, one to replace each of us. So we had Jessica & Rachelle. BUT, when Rachelle was 6 mos old, I found myself pregnant with Lauriellen. And she was a handful - still is! We moved, my DH went back to school, and don't you know I found myself pregnant once again. This time I got Brandon & Colin - and yes, they were the best surprise to all of us. The girls doted on them, they were the best children to raise. And there was always a friend available! Happy Birthday to Son #4! Have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteHi Kynda
ReplyDeleteI liked the inserts.
We do say things our mothers said.
Will you be going to sons house for BD dinner. Hope so, no cooking.
Enjoy your day. Sunny and cool in St.Louis. very, very dry. Later this week going back to 90s. Ugh. AC will have to go back on.
Enjoy your day.
Marge
For sure, I hear my dear Mom coming out of my mouth often. She was a wise woman. I know that now. Wish I’d known it in my younger years!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to sone #4. Hope it’s a wonderful day for him /and you, too!
Hugs and blessings

I do not see a change in your font size - so maybe it is my computer that is keeping it the same as always....but not a problem for me. My cats are adjusting to the "liter robot" I bought before the house disaster last December. The insurance replaced the one I lost so now that I have moved back into my house, they have to be trained to use it again! But it sure is nice not to have to clean 2 litter boxes every day! I feel your pain about missing Fred. I used to yearn for a sign from my DH....and I wished that I could dream about him, which rarely happened! But I feel that somehow, he is still with me in spirit, even without any "sign". I talk to him and ask him how he feels about how our house looks now with all the restoration/renovations! He would not recognize it now....makes me sad, but nothing could be saved so I am starting anew! The pain lessens every year that goes by (6 for me now), but it never goes away. We just learn to live with the giant hole in our heart!
