The colours are sim[ply magnificent!--Good day to you all--
It is cool-ish--but--not raining--I feel it in my bones--It will be a lovely day--
I am "up and at-it" here--the wash is chugging away--Lopez is up--waiting to get out--The blinds are all open-- -- and here we are--ready to face this day!
I had to post a couple more "leafy" pictures--They are beginning to fall now--- They do not last!
I drove up the highway agan after supper last night and was amazed at how many trees are losing their leaves just from the morning--
So it is another day----What are "you up to to-day?-"--Dad used to ask me that every morning when I came down for breakfast--
"What are you up to , to-day?"
Funny how various things people have said over your lifetime, stick with you !
Oh--I must post the picture below--
-just look at the colours--the water--- and sometimes a boat goes by--and--the colours in the bush across the lake--just magnificent--and the NUMBER ONE reason I returned to the "north"--
I hear the washer is finished-- I must put the laundry into the dryer--all these machines eh, chugging away--next it will be the dishwasher--
So, are you happy--?--content??--I must ask you all, as Dad used to say that every morning--
a blast from the past-- Gramma (me!)--at someone's wedding--dancing up a storm--dancing with the Grand children--long long ago--2009 --Wow!!--all the children in the above- picture, to-day--are nearly all finished university--and it seems like only yesterday-
My kids have all grown up--
So--I hope that you make to-day a "great day"---Soon-----outside will look like the picture below---so--LORD LOVE A DUCK!
Get outside and enjoy yer day---
Good morning, Lynda! Your leaves are so lovely! My maples are green here in Ohio! It will be sunny and 81 today. We are going to get ice cream this afternoon. This place closes September 30 for the season. I wish you were going. I will take you in the Spring when you come to Allison’s. I am still enjoying my coffee but will get out and enjoy the day. Don’t be too much Sadie. LOL Hugs!

DeleteGood morning Lynda, you are definitely surrounded by beauty. The photo from the wedding in 2009 is priceless. Great photo of your five children, all grown up. Go outside today and play while the weather allows it.

It's Kathy. I love all the fall photos. Nothing has changed here yet. I'm afraid we'll miss fall altogether and head right to winter. It's in the 80's again this week! Tom and I got some groceries today - glad that's over! He's making lunch and it's ready - so I'll say "Have a great day!"
ReplyDeleteLynda, which one is the son that you see frequently now? I know Son #2, who is on the far right, but not the rest of them. Do they all live close?
ReplyDeleteWe just have brown leaves on the ground, so far. The one tree that used to be so brilliant is just dropping brown leaves, as well. We may get some color eventually, but not until probably mid or late October.
It's been an unusual summer. VERY hot, and VERY dry, in the latter part of the summer. 86 degrees, today. I'm ready for 50 degree weather, but we have another week of the 80's, and then 70's.

Loving deck time with the dog. This afternoon we sat and watched a school bus that stopped on our street. It was empty except for the driver, who got up and walked through the bus, wiping down each seat. Care to guess? The driver was a woman. Wearing modesty scarf, so possibly Muslim, and I was so happy to feel that I live in a community that welcomes newcomers from wherever they started!
ReplyDeleteThe leaves are starting to fall here, and certainly show off their colors, so enjoying that!
