Good morning, sis.
ReplyDeleteYes, mornings can be busy.
I did my bed yesterday, floors today to be ready for our inspection in 3 days.
I'll check back in a couple hours or so to see if you've added anything.
Love the meme! {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
BuSy day here MisS Maggie--snowy too!--icey!
DeleteGood Morning,
ReplyDeleteWow, snow already! Winter has arrived at your place. Poor little Lopez, it won't take much snow to be higher than he is. Would he wear little booties on his paws to keep his paws warm and dry when he goes out? I have seen videos of dogs wearing those booties for the first time and they are pretty funny. They don't know how to walk in them. They don't realize they can just walk normally.
Yes, I was up and at it. I have a load of clothes in the washer and one in the dryer and then I will have a load of towels to do. Followed by a workout.
Sundays are pretty busy here.
Have a nice breakfast with Son#1's friend. Be careful driving.
Jackie
Dear Jackie--My -- Jackie You are up and at-er just like me--wash in and all--LOL--NO--I have tried those wee boots but--thy won't stay on his tiny feet--He is pretty good in the snow--does not like the wind tho--or the ice--wanted to go back home to-day--LOL--And yes, I was out to son#1 and wife--to their place for dinner--They are so so good to me--drove home here tho before dark--Hugs --Lynda
DeletePlease please be careful in the ice and snow weather driving or walking

great quote--so true!!== And yes I' m careful --specially on the ice-- and when its dark--Lynda
DeleteYou're a braver woman than I am, for sure, driving at night in the winter with icy roads and snow.
ReplyDeleteI used to prepare weekly pill organizers for my dad (big EZY Dose organizers on Amazon) and would sit down every few weeks and do three or four weeks at a time. Who knew I'd be using those same organizers 15 years later? It seems with all the supplements (Vitamin C, calcium twice a day, Preservision twice a day, daily vitamin, etc.) in addition to the prescriptions, it was annoying to have to open those bottles over and over again. So now I'm doing MY pills as I did Papa's, laying it all out once a month and filling pill organizers (I lay a white cloth on the bed and do it there, but my brother & wife do theirs at the kitchen table). I keep the before-bed pills separate in the master bathroom. The thought of doing that seemed overwhelming to me at first, but then I timed it and it took all of 20 minutes. Kind of like vacuuming, I guess, it's never as bad as you think it's going to be. Hugs/ Leslie
Yes the pharmacy make up the pill organizer for a month at a time--Fred used to get them also--AND NOW ME__LOL--What goes around comes around eh??--We have to pay to have the Pharmacy do that--Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda
ReplyDeleteEnjoy outing with sons friend.
Please, please be very careful driving...especially in the dark. Up there with ice and snow and deer...it really sounds dangerous. I'd be going back home before dark.
Chores, laundry done. Im sure Lopez doesn't like going out in snow and cold. Can you turn him loose in your fenced back yard so you don't have to walk?
Enjoy your day.

ReplyDeleteam glad I came back.
ReplyDeleteLove your photos...Himself, dogs, you and Santa (a son?) and a great meme!
I want to remind you to be careful on the ice. Do you have ice grippers on your boots? Are you putting petroleum jelly (Vaseline) on Lopez's paws?
We have no snow (yet), and it's up to 35F.
You're having a meal with a friend who is 'alone,' too...that's great!
I'm off for lunch and a snooze with Lucky. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

DeleteIt's Kathy. Love all the photos. Fred looks so official! Yes, things change when winter sets in. I'm having quite a time thinking about the things that need to be done - after being in this house for over 2 months with Tom driving me wherever I needed to go, I've gotten a bit lazy and/or spoiled. I need to start taking care of myself! I'm glad you and Lopez got out this morning. Daisy is no longer interested in going outside when the weather is bad - but thankfully we do not have any snow yet. I still have to clean my windows! That's the only job I'm doing to get ready for winter. Have a lovely day.
ReplyDeleteOh Kathy--There is never enough time in a day is there?--Lopez certainly did NOT like the cold wind this AM__nor does he like the ice on his feet--As soon as he did his business we turned around-- Poor wee fellow eh?--I will try the yard tomorrow-It might be milder--not as windy--Busy here ion the morning as I changed the bed also--Lynda
DeleteGlad Lopez and you braved the elements to get outside. It’s not easy, is it!
ReplyDeleteYes, wintery weather does make it more challenging to travel, especially @ night.
Indeed, we just gotta be ourselves!
