Let whoever think whatever--

To-day is Wednesday, November, 19th-- and-----It is cold!!-no snow falling, but VERY COLD!-----I tip toed down here  about 5am--turned up the wee furnace--but, it still feels kinda cold inside here--I have hopes that this tiny place  will warm up  soon!

To-day I have the Bereavement  and Grief  clinic-----11am to 3pm--It seems there is always something--Yesterday, 2 Drs appointments-- about the Thyroid  and the Heart--I will be so happy when all these appointments are over-- and I can get my life back!

                                        a Blast from the past--

It must've been someone's Birthday that we were celebrating-

We are all there---

The 2 young girls below are now in University--Tempus Fugit!--(Time flies!)

This am I have the Bereavement Course--till 3pm--  then must get my sutures out at the hospital--like maybe 2 sutures--
So, I am counting on all of yu to  make to-day a great day--  are you happy and you know it?--Can you clap your hands if you are?---
Ah__THOSE GOOD OLD days!--Did you ever dream that we would grow older than old??--
I knew it would happen one day but I never gave it much thought--never ever thought of how lonely it would be without my husband!- Think of all the people you know, who have lost their spouse!----Maybe give them a phone call and/or  invite them over-- or--take them out--justa idea!~

                                                    So----  Words of Wisdom---

#1-KEEP YOUR SOUL YOUNG

#2-Age is only important if you are cheese-

#3-Let MEMORIES  STRENGTHEN YOU!

Time to get wee Lopez Out into the cold--I hope that your day is great! If it isn't--make it that way--

  1. Good morning dear Lynda! It is cold in Ohio. It is 39 degrees. That is probably a heatwave for you. Gosh, your class is long. Not sure I could do that. I am sure they make it interesting but the sitting would be hard. Hope your house is warmed up and Lopez had a good walk. Well wishes for getting your medical appointment done. I don’t like medical appointments at all. They give me anxiety. Glad I am done until Spring. Have a great day as much as possible. Big hugs for you!

  2. Morning Lynda,
Hope you got your little house warmed up. It's no fun being cold. It's in the 40's here and I am cold. I get cold pretty easy anymore. I guess it comes with age.
Hope all goes well at your grief session. Wow, 4 hours is a long one.

    Have a great day!

  3. Good morning, sis.
You sure have a busy day today. Hope the grief class and the appointments go well.
I have a busy day, too...with the inspections. I am about to vacate the apartment. I don't want to be here when they are looking around.
A bit of shopping to do, too.
It's cold here, too, but at least it's over freezing. The sky is cloudy, but no rain or snow is predicted.
I'll check back later to see how everything went for you today. Hope you get a bit of rest/leisure in, too. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  5. Hi Lynda, I had no idea that your Grief session was 4 hrs. long. Am I wrong to assume that they provide lunch, since it is held during lunchtime? I hope your day goes well. Do you turn off the downstairs heater at night because you're afraid of fire? Maybe talk to one of the other tenants to see what they do. I don't think I'd turn mine off at night, but that's just me.

  6. It's Kathy. I hope all is well at the Bereavement Group. Seems like a long time to be together but I'm sure it's helpful. After my divorce I met with a group a few times to discuss loss - some had lost to a death, others to divorce like me. Loss is loss and it's not easy for sure. I do so understand wanting your life back! I had physical therapy yesterday and it went really well - now I just have to be consistent with doing the exercises! It's chilly here too, no sun. But I'm off to get some windows washed before the snow comes! Have a good day.

  7. Happy and know it... recognize how soft Sushi's fur in... smooth wee Lopez's short hair... and I hope your bereavement session is a healing one. I think our whole lives long we have loss of one kind or another, but you're handing "the big one" with grace. ((( big hugs )))

  8. I know . . . I crave appointment-free days. Not too many. Friday will be one!

    LOVE the flash back photo.

Hope your bereavement class is helpful. *SIGH*

I agree . . . people are going to think what they are going to think and can’t do anything about it. As long as WE are satisfied w/ourself, that’s what counts.

HUGS w/your appointments. Hope the stitches come out . . . it will feel more comfortable.

    hugs and blessings
