"Smile"-because you are amazing-

Good Morning--It is Monday, November 24th--It is very dark outside--feels cold also--My phone tells me it is minus 5  right now, in Elliot Lake--Lopez and I are up---but not too much--"at-er" yet--

The sunrise over Elliot Lake--This Morning--  like--just now--
and--then we have the tree of lights--where we celebrate 2 very important people who are now in Heaven watching over us--  My hubby--and Louis Ucci---You are all welcome to attend--

Words of Wisdom--
#1.--Go home and love your family.
#2.-- Never give up on what you really want to do.
#3.--When a marriage works, nothing on earth can take its place.

So---  Life--We are so fortunate to be "in the land of the living"--
a Blast from the past--below--

lovely picture of the 4 boys--above--
and--  Mom and Dad's cottage in Port Stanley--many moons ago--where I  used to date "Skip the drip"--(Dad's name for him)-and, "Horsey Bill"--another nickname from my Dad--
by the way--- Dad called Fred--
"Fred the Med"-
Lopez and  I must get out for the walk--
Make to-day special ! and--Be kind to everyone!-

  1. Good Morning Lynda,
It's going to be a busy week for me as Thanksgiving is this Thursday. I have all my regular chores as well as prepping for the holiday. Ready or not, here it comes!
Your sunrise picture is lovely. Sounds cold there though, but hopefully no rain for you. We are getting rain later tonight and it's supposed to be cold most of the week.

    Have a happy Monday!

  2. Oh, I'm so glad your dad had a "good" nickname for Fred! It helps when your parents approve your choice of spouse! Life is good. I'll look forward to the reports on the Tree of Lights.

  3. Good morning Lynda, what a magnificent sunrise to begin your day. You were not kidding when you said it was cold. I cannot imagine a temperature of -5 degrees. Do you have all of your Winder clothes in your closet? The photo of your boys is so nice. I know you'll enjoy the Tree of Lights celebration. Did you know the other gentleman being honored along with Fred? Too bad Allison could not be there for the celebration. Enjoy your day and stay warm.

  4. Hi Lynda, it's Kathy. No, haven't yet made the soup. I was working on my new computer (which I am now typing on) all afternoon yesterday so Tom graciously went out and got us Chinese. I have used PC's most of my working years and all my retirement years but it was time for an update.- so I now have a Mac. I just spent almost 2 hours paying bills on line - logging in to everything, saving favorites, and just figuring out where to put my fingers on this much smaller keyboard. But so far I've not made one mistake!! We have one more nice day - tomorrow rain is coming and snow by Wednesday. Or that's what they say. We'll see. You have 4 very handsome boys, and your parent's cottage looks lovely! And what a beautiful sunrise!!! I'm never up early enough and our sky is so filled, we can hardly even see the stars! Have a great day.

  7. Good morning, sis.
Your sunrise is amazingly beautiful! As are your four boys, BTW.
It's cloudy here, but 43F. Not too cold.
You asked how the bike I picked up is. OMG, Lynda, it was purchased by the last owner for $2000 from a gym! Barely got it into my mini SUV with the last owner's help. Now I need to get someone to get it out and up to my apartment.
Now I am attempting to sell my previous new foldable one for half price on Facebook Marketplace.
    'Nuff about me.
You didn't say what you're up to today other than walking Lopez.
Hope whatever it is you, too, SMILE and make yourself a good day! {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
