It is Sunday, November 30th--almost December---- Christmas!
and---- We have snow--mega snow!! and mixed with rain, which tells me that the roads must be slippery--I am late blogging because I was out shovelling--twice--I called the guy who was supposed to plough and he said, because I hired him recently-I-was last on his list , so would be the last one ploughed out---I instantly did not like him--but--I just looked out and there he was, ploughing out by the road at my tiny house--Maybe he had a change of heart---Who knows!!!!
So I have been out shovelling around the house and the car--twice--and the snow just keeps coming.
Good morning, Lynda! Bless your heart out shoveling. Finally, that man showed up. Hope he keeps doing good for you. High 30 in Ohio but feels like 7 and very windy! No snow. Love your sweet tree and a good place away from the fur babies. My fur babies got groomed last week and a few days later got sneezy and loose stool. They have shots, this place requires so I know others had shots. Never had sneezy dogs before. Was going to vet tomorrow but they seem much better. It was weird! Stay warm and enjoy our favorite day! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteMaybe are your fur babies allergic to tnose shots--like people?
Delete--Are they OK now-- Nice of yu to write--I did not write a very lengthy blog as the shovelling tok priority--Hugs to yu and yer fur babies--Lynda
I will take the snow you can send it north east Arizona I am so glad that he did come plow for you I do worry about the shoveling snow by you But I do understand that it must get done I also do my own work that I really shouldn't be doing it is our nature to just get things done
ReplyDeleteQuote for the day

awww Nice Quote-- And so true!! Yes I did shovel but it is not nearly as hard to do as our "lake House" was----Good to hear from YU-Lynda
DeleteOh Lynda, you poor thing! At your age you shouldn't have to shovel at ALL. I thought it was a senior living place. Here, in the condos where I live they plow, sometimes all night, as I hear them, and by the time I wake up have all the sidewalks shoveled. I am very grateful, because I cannot do that and none of the people here can. We have the VERY old, some in their 90's, that live here. All of the condos here are one floor only.
ReplyDeleteTake care! I have to run to the grocery today, and perhaps, start decorating a bit, but it's terribly windy here and cold. No snow, the S word has been popping up on the forecast for this week, however.
Marti
Oh Marti--I do not mind shovelling but--- I paid the guy down the road to do it and he never came--so much to do eh before Christmas Day--Lynda
DeleteIt's Kathy. We had snow all day long yesterday, not too much by early evening. But Daisy was out at 11:00 pm and when I took her out this morning her footprints were gone. Looks like 3 or 4 inches. I guess Winter is finally here! We did go to church this morning, but my body is just not ready for all this cold and snow! I'm glad the plow man finally made it to your house. He should have explained himself when you hired him. My husband is still okay using the snow blower (we have a really big one) but I"m starting to wonder as we both age how long that will be possible. The brain is still willing but the body doesn't always cooperate! Have a nice day!
ReplyDeleteTough getting old--I sure know--LOL--Little Lopez was with me most of the day--very cold here for him also-- lynda
DeleteMorning Lynda,
ReplyDeleteLooks like a winter wonderland at your house.
We had falling snow last night but then it rained so the snow didn't stick. It's just cold and dreary out now.
Glad your snow plowing guy showed up. Maybe he will move you up on his list.
Your little tree is cute. Are Lopez and Sushi curious about it? My cats love laying under our tree, like little furry presents. We try not to hang anything breakable within their reach because sometimes they like to bat at the ornaments.
Be careful and don't overdo the shoveling. Bundle up and stay warm.
Have a good day!
Jackie
yes jackie--was a blustery cold day here--lots of snow also--lynda

ReplyDeleteGood morning, sis. You sure are busy!
Mega snow here, too. It snowed all day yesterday and late into the night. A bit more came down this morning. At least we had it easy until the day after Thanksgiving.
Did you get to your tire store?
I had to move my car across the street as plows want our lot empty so they can do the whole lot.
The photos I sent you? One is my new huge recumbent bike. The other is me in the wig my daughter talked me into. We both have very thin, fine hair.
You look like you have thicker hair.
Love the meme.
Does Lopez like the snow?
Your bitty tree is beautiful...and I remember the bow on your door, too.
I put up a few decorations in the area just outside of my apartment door this morning.
Back later to see how your day went. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
To-day was busy--shovelling--but it is a short driveway-- Then i hired a guy to clean inside of my car--got my feet done also--and Andrew brought me suppper which was nice--Lynda
DeleteMega-snow here, too. We had close to a foot of snow. Horrible. Glad your plough guy had a change of heart.
ReplyDeleteThe little tree is adorable!

Oh Barb--I was so happy he came back--but I had it nearly one--This driveway is very short--but--we had lots pf snow--and so cold Lynda
DeleteYour snow looks lovely! And unfortunately the plow guys have more than one customer, so we all have to wait our turn. On the other hand, at our age, most of us are retired, so we usually have nothing so urgent that we can’t wait for them to show up. I am glad you hired someone, just sounds like it may require some patience! Hope your day has been good. I had to take my daughter and grandchild to the airport this morning, a 3 hour round trip drive, missing them already. Susan/Colorado
ReplyDeleteSusan where are they going??--yer daughter---somewhere warm I hope!--Lynda
