FRIENDSHIP MATTERS BIG TIME!

To-day is Friday--November 28th--a brand new day--and here we are--a part of it!

"30 days hath September, April , June and November--"---2 MORE DAYS THIS MONTH------and Santa comes  next month--December--It has come fast-!!!  Holy cow!-So, You better watch out--You better not pout--because--

SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN!--Soon!

                                        Words I wish I wrote-

-#1. Put your best foot forward

#2.If you live fearing death, then you do not live!

#3.How you treat your children will be reflected for generations!

So, no snow falling -yet--and lotza snow on the car which I must clear off--I miss our garage--I hear Sushi yodelling upstairs also--afraid of Lopez--   will not come down and she wants her breakfast--Poor little Turkey--I do know she wanders around down here in the night--but afraid of Lopez in the day--You all know that I found her--one winter, on our deck, eating bird seed--She was just a kitten--I tried to give her to the city, who wouldn't have her as she was "feral"--so--she lived under Fred's side of the bed for 4 mos, before seeing the light of day---(Mom's expression)_ and Fred never minded sleeping over Sushi--  He was a good man!! ----

So---How is your day going -so far??---  Are you "happy and you know it"?--Are you looking forward to Christmas---?----Another question here----  Did you  ever get a "DOLL" for Christmas?-- And wasn't that the best gift ever??_-My Grandfather used to hide my DOLL when we visited him in Port Perry-and it would make me cry--and he would say, "There she goes again ILA"---(That was my Mother's name)-and then he would grab my hands and dance me around his kitchen--Memories--  Memories are the best ever as we grow older--82 years --I am 82--and I feel about 21-(WelL__most of the time I feel that way!)-----  Isn't that weird??--Do you feel your age?--

So--a couple of blasts from the past here--
Below--  (which yu have seen before)--are my family-----my Mom nd Dad-My little  sister who I absolutely adored-----

and below is Son#1's daughter--who has finished her Universisy courses,
and who was our first Grandchild-

SO MANY MEMORIES
But--  Time to get moving here-- Lopez is waiting in the wings--
Appreciate your family--They will help you when you get older--

  1. Good morning, Lynda! It is 25 but feels like 10 in Ohio! My nephew is still here. He helped so well with dinner yesterday. He is 17. He is so good. I am happy he loves to come see us every holiday. My husband took off work today to be with him but was told the other day they needed him to be Santa at his work for an event. Oh well! I guess Santa is much needed. We have light snow on the ground. More this weekend. I hope you stay warm and cozy. Enjoy your day! I may try to get pumpkins up and decorate for Christmas. Looks very cold for days so guess I have to face the cold. Hugs to you!

  2. Good morning, sis.
Beautiful blue sky here, but only 13F. Brr!
Sushi is lucky you found her! Her life is better because you are in it...forget Lopez in the equation.
I am sure I got a doll for Christmas.
Lynda DID YOU CHANGE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS? I can't seem to make the one I had work to send the photos I wanted to show you!
It's Black Friday here on Amazon (well, they started it). Lower prices on many things. Maybe I should have waited to do my Christmas shopping.
Love your blasts from the past. The family photo...did you have 2 sisters and a brother?
I am happy! That's the way to be. If I think something that doesn't make me happy...I switch the thought and think of something I love.
I need to get garbage/recyclables out and pick up an order at Walmart.I'm going to my Good Will store, too. They are having a Black Friday sale, too.
I'll check back later. You haven't said what your agenda is today, but I hope it goes just as you wish it to. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  3. My mother described it well, when she said she felt about 16, even when she was in her 60's. I feel the same. When I feel good, I don't feel my age at all. But when the body complains... well!

It's chilly down in Nebraska, and going to get more so. I'm a bit of a wimp about it, feeling the chill in hands that exhibit Reynaud's syndrome. So I let Ember have an extra day care day today, so she gets exercised well before the "measurable snowfall" we're supposed to get tonight!

Glad to hear the grief sessions are helping. You will always miss your partner, but you are already discovering he's with you in spirit even if not physically present!

    Hugs and blessings!

  4. It's Kathy. Yes, we had a lovely day yesterday, just me, Tom and little Daisy. Our dinner was very good, and didn't take me all day to prepare. So I spend time reading, watching a little bit of Christmas movies, and just taking care of me. And today seems to be a repeat! We had planned to clean but going to wait until tomorrow. I'm sorry to hear that sushi is afraid of Lopez. I hope she warms up to him eventually. I remember when we brought Daisy home, such a wee little girl then. We had a cat, Sheba. She had been my mom's cat that we took in after mom passed away. We had 2 cats and mom had 2 - Sheba was the only one left and she DID NOT like Daisy. But after awhile she decided to tolerate her and soon they were best friends. When she passed at 18, Daisy missed her so much! Memories are the best, aren't they! My first grandchild, and ONLY granddaughter, is at University now too. They grow up too fast! Have a lovely day.
