Good morning, sis.
ReplyDeleteYes, I am 'up and at her.' Not alot done yet, but there are things on my to do list for today.
I will need to pick up a Walmart order, get the recyclables and garbage out, etc. And, oh yes, there is always that litter box! I clean it daily, have a little mat in front to catch the litter that sticks in his paws. That said, there is always litter around it to sweep up.
The sky is a lovely blue. It's 45F now and only due to get up to 53F.
I have a bit more work to do on my new FOLDABLE exercise bike. I need to raise the seat and still use a step stool to climb up on it.
You get lots of exercise walking your dear Lopez.
I'm going to get busy now, Lynda, but will come back later.
Please enjoy your day. Put your lawn furniture away and play some piano. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
Hello Miss MAGGIE_Yer new foldING BIKE Sounds like a new addition--__still raining here ---- but little :Lopez did his business-- happy he did! --- Looks like an all day rain here--but--SNOW I hear on the weekend--Lordy Be! --- We do not want to hear that word!---the "S" word---Lynda
DeleteGood morning Lynda, you're busy, as always, after you get up. As for your high beams, you may not need to go to the dealership to solve the high beam problem. Generally, if you've accidentally turned on your high beams, there should be a light appear on the dashboard. Also, when you turn on your lights, if you turn it all the way, that usually turns on the high beams. just gently turn it backwards one click, and that should do it. I don't know if any car can automatically dim the high beams. Actually, in California it's illegal to drive with high beams unless you're in a deserted area where you're not likely to encounter other drivers. If this is confusing, it would be a good idea to consult the dealership. Enjoy your day.

Have you found out form the landlord if they do any lind of snow removal (sidewalks, driveway, etc)? If they don;t you need to go ahead and get someone lined up so you don't have to be out there doing that now that you're alone. I'd ask your neighbor who they use (if anyone). Since you have no garage now, you might want to consider getting a car cover to keep your windows from freezing & haivng to scrape. If you're not sure what to get, ask your sons or go to the auto parts store.
ReplyDeleteIt's Kathy. Good words for today. Decide, Commit, Succeed! And yes, I'd really rather just crawl back into bed. But I did sleep late this morning. The nights are still so restless for me. Today I see the pain doctor and tomorrow I get that injection! I've decided that I just have to DO things, even if I don't feel like it! I don't like driving at night anymore either and I'm very lucky to have my husband who actually loves to drive and loves to get out of the house! Today the clinic called me with last minute directions for my injection tomorrow - and I have to have a "driver". I would never drive myself out to that clinic - 30 minutes away on freeway traffic! I can barely stand to look while my husband is driving. So I will get some nice reading done in the car today! I'm glad you were able to have dinner with Son #1 and his wife. I'm quite sure if I was here alone I would rarely eat a real dinner! Have a good day!!
ReplyDeleteGood afternoon, Lynda! It is sunny and 63 in Ohio. High 31 and snow coming Monday. I got my outdoor winter doings and put aways done yesterday before the cold sets in. I have to get things done or it drives me crazy. Good for you having dinner with your son. How nice! I wonder if you had your bright lights on not sure. I am doing laundry as well and sipping iced pumpkin sugar cookie coffee. It makes it easy to get things done while sipping. LOL! Hope your day is going well! Hugs!
