Good morning, Lynda! I hope you get your house warmed up soon. It is cloudy and 16 in Ohio. That photo is stunning! Looks like you will be sunny today! Yes, we must try to ignore the aches and pains and focus on the good stuff like staying warm and eating ice cream! LOL! Have a beautiful day! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteSO so nice to see yu on here---It has been one busy morning--Hope yer day is going well-Lynda

Good morning, sis.
ReplyDeleteIt's cold here, too, but not as cold as yesterday. It's 14F with clouds. We're supposed to ger 'snow showers' this morning, but I don't see any yet.
It's my new friend, John's, birthday today. He's a baby...63! He's the one I took to adopt a kitten. He plans also to get her sister. I am getting him a bitty chocolate birthday cake. He loves to cook so I am also getting him the ingredients for one of my favorite meals.
It's fun to celebrate birthdays.
Also plan to (finally) getting that kitchen floor washed. Meditating, naps, exercise...always on the schedule.
Enjoy your day, Lynda. I will check later to see if you have added to this or commented on what we have written to you. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
Maggie--John is 63-??--Did he cook the meal for yu-- nice guy if he did--Lynda
DeleteMorning Lynda,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture of sunrise coming up!
It's cold here, 23F right now but it looks like the sun is going to be out, which makes it so much better when it's cold.
It's been crazy busy the last two weeks, so today I am going to take it a little easy. Well, that's the plan but I always end up finding a million things I need to do.
Hope you get your heat going.
Have a good day!
Hugs,
Jackie
Jackie it is very cold here also-- and snowy--Lynda
DeleteLove this bright and beautiful picture, Lynda! I'm glad you are settled in your new home and it sounds like Lopez is too.
ReplyDeleteI, too, just concentrate on what's working. That keeps me happy!
Enjoy your Saturday and Weekend!
Love, Gloria xoxo

DeleteHi Lynda
ReplyDeleteYes, look for the positives and I'm grateful for all I can do.
Finally, sun in St.Louis. Still crazy cold but the sun makes me feel better.
Hope your house warms up soon. I've got to get Sadie moving. Changed linens and one load of wash done but lots more to do.
Your sunrise is spectacular.
Did you hair turn out the way you like? Hope so.
Make today a good one.
Be warm and safe.
Hugs
Marge

Quote for the day
There is a muscular energy in sunlight corresponding to the spiritual energy of wind.
Annie Dillard
OHhhhh lovely quote--so Nice--Lynda
DeleteIt's Kathy. What a beautiful morning. I confess, I am NEVER up early enough to see the sunrise - although today is going to be cloudy and gloomy all day. But it's warming up and we'll see temps in the 30's next week. Thinking about forgetting things - I even have to put in my "to do" list regular things like 'water the plants' or when we still had a cat 'clean the litter box'. The days just go by so fast that it's hard to keep track of everything! I'm going to start catching up with some of the things I've let slide over these past few months of recovering - my back is a little bit better and I can do things sitting down! Have a lovely day!
ReplyDeleteKzthy I sure do understand how yu must write "things to do"--down--It kinda drivers me crazy!--Lynda
DeleteSun? What is that? Central Ohio really doesn't see much sun in winter, it's been days, if not weeks. But that is what supposedly keeps us relatively mild. It is 23 degrees here right now, but a big warm up is coming next week! We still have snow on the ground right now, perhaps a couple of inches.
ReplyDeleteI have been working hard putting away the Xmas decorations and tree. I hauled the tree out to the garage this morning and brought in the fake ficus tree which I keep lights on year round, all I have to do is put the ornaments away today. I change up the ficus along with the seasons. Right now it has orange lights on it that I need to take off, and then put up pink lights soon, for February. I have to order some first, though. Mostly I just keep white lights on it. I feel it adds some cheer to the room.
Have a good day, stay warm!
Marti
Marti--=so good to get the tree down after Xmas---another year passed eh??--Lynda
DeleteLove your beautiful sunrise! Happy to have a sunny day here too! My furnace has been running a lot - so I know my propane usage will be way up! But I don't care. I like to be warm, and so do my spoiled cats! Really liked the meme about concentrating on what's working! I like the saying that aging is like fine wine - keeps getting better as it ages!
ReplyDeleteLOL--Happy yu enjoy the memes-- Lynda
DeleteLynda, you are one remarkable woman, and I love reading your blogs. What a lovely sunrise to begin your day. Please take a photo of your new snow shovel. I am intrigued since it uses a battery. You handled your crazy morning quite well. Enjoy the remainder of your day.
ReplyDeleteMaureen from California
What an absolutely gorgeous sunrise! There IS a God in Heaven
ReplyDeleteGlad your snow shovel is working. Hope you get the spare battery!
LOVE the blast from the past photos.
Oh, your words of wisdom are spot on! Definitely forgiveness is something that is a gift to OURSELVES. I allows us to move forward and not ruminate. BUT always forget the lessons learned.
Hugs and blessings. Concentrating on what is working! It works!
