A snow-y world!

It is Friday, January the 16th--"VERY" cold outside--daylight now--I was up early--drove to the medical clinic--as I had to have blood work taken--There were about 12 people already there--
ahead of me--so, I was there quite awhile--still dark when I drove back home--AND FREEZING RAIN  falling ---and the letter "L"---as it says below--the best things in life begin with the letter "L"--like--"Lynda"-- (LOL)--and "LOVE"---and "Lucky" and "Life"--and "Laundry"-which is done by the way--So,--to-day is Friday--which means the weekend is --well, like to-morrow.--

By the way, thanks for being my friend-

                                        -I do appreciate  "you"

Can you believe that it is snowing outside here right now?It seems that Elliot Lake does have a lot of snow!  Why did I not remember that from before?--very cold temperatures plus a lot -  of snow!-and--
a few Blasts from the past--Emma in her Mom's arms and Hannah on his Dad's knee--

Below--  Hannah with Allison--

OH-OH----  Looks like Miss Hannah did something wrong--so cute eh--her expression--
-Wise words--
#1. Refuse to be negative!
#2.You can do it!
#3.Have grace under pressure!
So, I must get busy-- a weekend is coming up--  yeah!!!-- positive thoughts-- strong- I must be strong, being alone is OK if I don't think of it too much  and Lopez is here--and to-morrow I meet Dave for breakfast--a "friend" is good for sure!

Son#2'S PLACE--COLD!-WITH SNOW!!!

  1. Good morning Lynda,
Thank you for the happy, upbeat, positive start to my Friday.
Your weather is horrible. Your TOUGH.
The pic of little Hannah being guilty of something is so cute.
Hope you can get out for breakfast with Dave tomorrow. You are quite the social butterfly.
Enjoy your day. Stay warm and safe.
Love the words of wisdom and the letter L insert.

  2. Good morning, Lynda! Let’s not forget “L” for sweet Lopez! He is adorable in that cute sweater. It is three years today our first yorkie has been gone. Always a hard day. Bless your heart having bloodwork this morning and a big wait time. You know needles are my least favorite thing. Warmer today in Ohio. It is 23 feels like 4 but yesterday was extra cold. My son works outside. I worry when it is so cold. Enjoy your breakfast with Dave tomorrow. My son and his family are coming tomorrow for Christmas. They had the flu over the holidays. I am super excited. Lots to do. I better get busy. Enjoy your day. Hugs!

  3. Good Morning!
Yay, for Friday! I have all my chores done for the day but I still need to get my workout in.
It's cold here too (28F) and spitting snow, just enough to coat the street but more expected this evening.
I hope to get out an run an errand this afternoon.
Cute pics and look at all the snow at Son#2 place. It's winter for sure!
Good you are meeting Dave tomorrow for breakfast. That's so nice that you have a friend to meet up with for a meal.
Oh sweet Lopez! Could he look any cuter in that sweater all bundled up? I don't think so.

    Have a wonderful day!
    Hugs,
    Jackie

  4. Friends really do make so much better! I love the photo of Lopez, above, by the way. He looks so... sleepy? Content? Bonded to you? Whatever, he looks as though he has grown into a "good dog" for you!

And those photos with the memories of the grands when they were little... awesome. I hope you enjoy your breakfast visit with Dave.

  5. It's Kathy. That's a lot of snow! You're very brave getting up and going out when the weather is not the best. I know we have to do these things but it sure isn't fun. Our temperature is falling throughout the day and we have snow coming too. Hopefully not as much as you got up there! Today I have to get some cleaning done. I'm so behind with everything - seems like there just isn't enough hours in a day anymore! Have a good day and enjoy your breakfast tomorrow!

  6. Good morning Lynda, you are not kidding when you say it's cold. Being from California I couldn't handle your weather. I too went to the lab this morning in preparation for a routine visit with my doctor next week. Nice that you'll have breakfast with Dave tomorrow. Lopez's sweater is so cute. I hope your day goes well and that your weekend is enjoyable.

  7. Yes! As Anonymous above stated LOPEZ! Lopez starts with "L" just like Love, Laughter, Lynda! I was amazed at all the snow at your son's house! Brrrr! I do not like cold weather - but we are having really cold temperatures in the Metro East, IL area this week-end. Wind chills in the below zeros! I would move to a warmer place, but most of my children and grandkids are near me here.....so they would need to move with me in order for me to go hahahahaha!
