Another Day--Another Dollar--

It is Friday, January the 9th
-dark outside--and I think rain  is coming down--Lopez and Sushi and I are up and at it , here-and--you , even if you do not think so--you really are simply amazing--Just think of what you have accomplished in your lifetime!

The sun is just coming up here --
-So much to learn when you live on your own!--And, yesterday was hair day also--colour--
So, I shall return---I hear Sushi upstairs, asking for her breakfast--
"Wise words to think about--"
#1.Life begins every morning when you wake up--
#2-Spend an little time to-day for to-morrow, but not too much so that it ruins to-day.
#3.Trusting in yourself brings trust to other people.

I hope that your day goes well--  I also hope that you think positive thoughts--that you "can" do whatever you need to do, to get thru the day--and that the weather co-operates--

I found the picture below, buried in this computer--I do not know who took it--but it did make me smile--That is me , way up on the deck, and just look at all the men's clothing that I had washed--Funny to look back at that now!
Willow, beside Son#2 , towing Hannah, his daughter
and the bird feeders lined up on the back deck--
and Son #2, with Hannah , his daughter
The old pictures are so much fun to go back to--to look at, over the  years gone by--

So, Lopez needs to get out--I see the sun just coming up--  Are you happy?--Are you feeling strong?--This is a brand new day and we are a part of it! Get off of here---and face the day--

  1. Hi Lynda
    Beautiful sunrise!
Windshield fluid is super easy. One of the few things I can do myself on the car. You can do it.
So you decided to keep coloring your hair. It's difficult to stop after all these years. I know your happy to be back with your beautician.
The picture with all the men's clothes made me giggle and on a clothesline.
I bet the birds hate that you moved. You had Iots of tasty food available.
LOVE Snoopy and the Wise Words.
I hope Dr. apt goes well. Be safe in your travels.
Thanks for sharing your amazing self with us each day. You make my morning happy.
    Hugs dear lady

  4. Good morning, sis.

It's (so far) a lovely day here today. It is a bit colder than freezing, but the sky is mostly clear.

You must've taken more photos of son #2 and Hannah. She sure is cute.

Good luck with your doctor's appointment. Good you got the hair done yesterday.

I do know how to change my washer fluid...and that's about all I know how to do with my car.

I will 'get offa here'. Need to breakfast and shower (I'm still in my bathrobe). I will check back later, Lynda. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

Beautiful photos! I can see why, with all those sons and Himself, you had to wash all those mens clothes!

  5. It's Kathy. Love the photos - yes, that was a lot of men's clothing you had washed. Thanks for the reminder that I am amazing - because some days I sure don't feel very amazing. But when I think about it - my preference right now is to sit on the recliner on the heating pad to ease the pain but instead I am taking care of my home, my sweet little Daisy, my husband, AND myself! I started a 4 week Exercise Program on Monday and so far I haven't missed a day! The exercise helps bring back my strength and the stretching helps the pain - so it's a win/win! We have a warmer day today with sunshine! It feels so good to see the sun! Rain/Snow coming tonight. Have a lovely day.

  6. Hi Lynda, sorry to hear your thyroid is out of whack. When did they last check? Do you take Synthoid for it? I am on that, a long time ago there was a growth on my thryroid and they took 1/2 of it out, only to find that it was benign. But I just take the same dose all the time.

It was a weird day here. Raining hard and dreary in the morning, and I felt likewise gloomy on my way to work, then when I left it was 63 degrees and sunny, I was feeling so HAPPY, playing great music in the car, took off my coat, saw the doc, came home, and then when I went to get my mail, it was very windy and the sun had gone under, and I was freezing without my coat and feeling once again gloomy. I put it back on again, with a hat even, for my dog walk. Good 'ole Ohio weather for you! Ha! Not I'm sitting under my SAD light - I have seasonal affective disorder in the winter, and January is my most difficult month to get through.
