Good morning, Lynda, Lopez and Sushi! It is 11 in Ohio. We are in a winter storm warning that starts tomorrow evening at 7 pm and goes until Monday afternoon. I know Allison will tell you all about it. Why can’t it be Spring and eating ice cream together? It will be Spring in eight Sundays I read somewhere. Yay!! I am about to finish my coffee and get laundry going, too. Don’t forget how amazing you are, as well. Stay warm! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteIt is SO SO cold here also with snow precdicted to-morrow--Lynda
DeleteGood morning Lynda, I loved the last insert. If thats true, you're set.
ReplyDeleteSt.Louis is under a severe winter weather alert.. Below zero temps, winds and about a foot of that dreaded snow. We'll be in and all will be fine as long as the power stays on and no pipes freeze. The entire southern half of the USA is impacted severely by this storm. Mother nature is mad as hell.
Stay warm and be safe. YOU are truly amazing.
Warm hug
Marge in St.Louis
Hi Marge--Compute problem this AM--=so--I shall post this evening--Meanwhile--Stay Warm-Lynda
DeleteYes, right now we are @ -15F and wind chill of -46F. It is incredibly brutal.

DeleteGood Morning Lynda,
ReplyDeleteYay for Friday!
We have a winter storm coming according to all the local news channels. So, I am sure there will be a run at the groceries for all the essentials. If their predictions are correct. we will be getting 8-12 inches of snow and maybe some sleet mixed in for good measure. This will all start tomorrow afternoon.
I am getting prepared in case we lose power, gathering together flashlights, cell phones charged up, etc. Hope we don't, but if we do, we have a generator to run the furnace and a few other things if we need to.
Anyway, have a good day and I hope it warms up in your house. Clothing layers are always good. Snuggles to the furry ones, Lopez and Sushi.
Hugs,
Jackie
Jackie it is very cold here tyhis AM--plus stuff just flew all over my computer so will have to sort that out later-- Meanwhile--stay warm-Lynda
DeleteGood morning, sis.
ReplyDeleteIt's cold here, too. Colder than cold...-21F NOT including the "wind chill factor!"
My doctor's office called to reschedule my appointment for today due to the doctor unexpectantly not in clinic today. Thank heavens I don't have to drive 45 minutes to the hospital where it will be even colder.
The heat in our rehabbed building is a joke. It's hot water that goes through the baseboards. I have my thermostat turned up to 80F and It is still freezing. The dial says it's only 64F in here. It seems the heat just doesn't want to turn on. Plus the cold leaks in all around our 'builder grade' windows.
Here I am, a follower of the Law of Attraction who really believes we get what we focus on...and I'm focusing on the cold. I think soon I will curl up in my warmer bed and imagaine myself on a beach in Hawai'i.
I'll be back later, too, dear. Please have good a day and all three of you STAY WARM! {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
Oh ,my goodness--cold AGAIN in your place--Yes Hawaii sounds like Heaven to me-Lynda

ReplyDeleteand it is VERY cold here in Canada-Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda, it's Kathy. How nice of that man to lend you his gloves. I can't even imagine being outside today. It's very cold here too,. Daisy has a full fur coat and even she doesn't want to be out. Yes, I'm worried for those little boys - their father just keeps dragging this thing on even though he can't really believe that it's good for them. Jake, the oldest, cries every time he has to go to his dad's. It's so cold this weekend and we're worried that Bryan - who has no sense - will make them play outside! Thanks for your positive thoughts. Have a good day and stay warm!
ReplyDeleteVery cold here this AM--affecting the computer--Lynda
DeletePlease be safe, Lynda, and everybody!
ReplyDeleteMy day went well today, I didn't have to interact with the witch. She was joking and laughing with all the men, and everybody else gets along with her. It's me, always me, that attracts the meanies. I'm very shy, meek, and mild, and I guess mean people like to pick on those types. Oh well. Hopefully we'll all get off work on Monday! One can only hope! :)

MARTI YU DO NOT DESERVE HER MEAN NESS__--Big hugs--Lynda
DeleteWhat a nice man at the gas station! I find as I get older and people are so considerate it gives me hope for the future of the world!
ReplyDeleteCold here, and maybe snow tonight, but the worst of the "big storm" in the news is supposed to track mostly to the South of us... where they are really not prepared for it so much. And as ice, which is so much worse than snow!
Our high today was a single degree above zero (F), which translates to COLD (-17 C). Brrrr. Ember and I mostly stayed inside, but she did got out solo a few times, "to take care of business" in the backyard. She also played fetch a few times. I made her some makeshift toys to play with inside the house. Amazing what a cardboard box full of empty toilet paper rolls and tennis balls can do for a canine's playfulness!
Stay warm and dry up there!
So so cold here-- and I had my photos fly all over thE computer this AM-- so--I shall sort that out to-nite--Lynda
DeleteI would love to take some of that snow from you Arizona is so dry we need it If I were closer I would shovel snow and Pump gas for you even help keep things done I loved doing that for my Grand Mother But now all I do is work and I am tired of this job I am tired of having to be places all the time I just am but this comes with age
