Happy Saturday morning, Lynda! Happy International Women’s Day! You can do anything and everything! I have always said that I want to be just like you when I grow up! I took a female conservative college class back in the day. May have been a bad thing! LOL It is high 30’s and calm but snow on the ground in Ohio. I hear my husband trying to drink his coffee and getting on to Tommy for wanting to play ball. LOL Tommy is like a wind up toy when it comes to balls. He does not stop. The little yorkie will be 2 on May 2 so he may settle down soon. I have Kloi, the 9 year old yorkie upstairs with me. They are so different but big age difference. Enjoy your day. Back to my coffee. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteYu have 2 doggies--so nice--We always used to have 2 Shepherds-- They are happier with a friend--AND--I am honoured--LOL--YOU WANT TO BE LIKE ME??--Love that!!! So cold out there AGAIN this AM--- We needs Spring!--LOL--Nice to see yu are up--and at -er--Lynda
DeleteHi, sis! I was going to search for a meme to celebrate and post it on my page. You have given them to me...now I don't have to search!
ReplyDeleteBirthdays this month? Maybe the boys in Elliot Lake. My ex-husband's birthday was yesterday. I messaged him.
I ordered a recliner cover for my old chair. I need to take it to the UPS store where I can return it. It's evidently for a lift chair. It doesn't even have an opening to fit the handle you need to pull up to recline. If that makes sense. Doesn't fit the footrest, either. I found one that looks like it will work on Amazon. I know you love Amazon, too.
Weather is cold here, too. Not above freezing yet, though it's supposed to be for a while this afternoon.
Karaoke tonight. Don't know if that will make the world a better place, but it will make my world better!
Was going to Great Clips for a haircut and style, but I will wait 'til next week. Saturdays are a long wait, and I don't know if I can even get the stylist I want.
A couple small chores...then I will just take the rest of the day to relax until time to prepare to leave for karaoke.
I will, of course, be back here later. Have a great day, Lynda. You deserve it with all you do for others! {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
Hi there Miss Maggie--I just took out wee Lopez --- so icey--WE need SPRING--LOL-- Lopez did nothing--just pulled to go back ion----Yu are good to recognize yer ex with a card--- It sounds like yer day is starting well-- --With Karaoke to-nite--- I hope yu can get there-- Yesterday here was busy--but it did warm up in the afternoon-- -- OK--I'll check later on yu dear girl-- Hugs--Lynda
DeleteThanks for the upbeat and encouraging blog today. I have spent the last few days feeling very blue and down in the dumps. Struggling to rise above all my sorrows: 6 yr anniversary of my dear husband's death, computer crashed and had to buy a new one (in the middle of trying to do inventory for insurance company), final walk through of my smoke damaged home with contractor - where he basically informed me that none of my precious new things (countertops, lighting fixtures, etc can be saved)! I guess I am grieving the loss of all my stuff...but I will survive. Thinking I just need to get outside and take a walk and breathe in some nice fresh air. I want to be strong and to quit feeling stressed and anxious and fly like that turtle!
ReplyDeleteSandra--Yu already are strong--- Just look at all yu have gone thru--Yu just fly--like the turtle--I know yu can!!-- Losing your husband-and carrying on is hard--but--Yu did it--- I truly look up to yu--- Just shout--"I AM STRONG AND I CAN DO THIS""__One day at a time--- and the things that got burnt--are just things --They can be replaced--or yu can live without so much--HUGs--Hugs and more hugs-Lynda
DeleteIt's Kathy. Happy Women's Day to you and yes, we women do keep the world going round! My husband asked me what I was going to do today - well I have a list of about 25 items. He is going to the art center to do a demonstration and visit the gallery opening. And some of the items didn't even get on the list like deposit his pay check, make dinner, take Daisy out 20 times (she's kind of liking the snow being almost gone). Tomorrow is my youngest daughter's birthday. The boys are with their dad so she gets to go out for brunch with some friends and her oldest sister! Thanks for always starting my days with positive thoughts! I hope your day goes well and the snow melts!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy-- lots going on today for sure!--The time change will be wonderful--Lynda---
DeleteHappy International Women’s Day . . . we deserve it.
ReplyDeleteI feel that the world would be better if women ran it! More organized, compassionate, and can multi-task. Definitely we women wear a lot of hats . . . and we do it well! Being wife, mother, professional.
Our clocks turn ahead tonight! Hurray! Am happy for it. MORE DAYLIGHT!
Here’s to a great weekend.
Hugs and blessings

DeleteHi Lynda, thanks for making my day positive.
ReplyDeleteIndeed, women make the world go around. We do it all.
It's sunny and 50sF here today. Nice. Going to be mid 70sF next week. We'll want to dig out shorts.
Hoping himself is feeling better. How'd it go with PCW? Hope she helped both of you out and she'll be returning soon.
Oh boy...you get to change your 100 clocks.
Keep soaring. You inspire me.
Maybe you can find a class you'd enjoy. Wouldn't that be cool?
Hugs and blessings
