What can be said. . . the treatment Zelensky received is shameful, disrespectful, dehumanizing, horrid, embarrassing. I’m sure there’s many other descriptions that could be added, but I’ll end it with these. Well, DJT does NOT play well w/others . . . ever. Never has. Yup . . . . like a tantrumming 2 yr. old . . . he needs a MAJOR time out.
ReplyDeleteYES it’s during times like this that we need to keep the heart beautiful and the rest will fall into place.
Happy March 1st. Doesn’t feel like spring but . . . it will!
Hugs and blessings,
Barb

It was shocking wasn't it??--I mean how Zalensky was treated by the Trump guy--and the other guy seems hopeless--Next week they do predict SRING weather--hope they are right--Lynda
DeleteIt's Kathy. My husband is an artist and he teaches art classes at the Rum River Art Center - which holds classes for all ages. Next weekend is a gallery opening for the teachers to show off their own art. Unfortunately, although my dear husband is talented, he has little confidence in his work - which translates into him starting a painting but rarely finishing it! I've told him for years that he should create a painting for each of our children as gifts for Christmas - but that hasn't happened yet. We're off this afternoon to celebrate little Roman's 5th birthday, which was last Wednesday. Jakey called me this morning to ask me not to bring Daisy because they have all their stuffed animals out and he doesn't want Daisy to chew them up! She wouldn't anyway, she has so many of her own stuffed animals which are in perfect shape even years after she got them. But I wasn't going to bring her anyway - she's a little bit afraid of Roman! I hope you have a good day!
ReplyDeleteRoman and Jakey sound like busy little people-- good that you celebrate their Birthdays-How are the boys doing?--And your daughter?--Hard eh?-- enjoy the day--Lynda
DeleteI have a Jakey in my life, but not human - my Cavapoo. Well, his name is Jake, but I call him Jakey oftentimes as well!
DeleteNice to have a Jakey in yer life--Lynda
DeleteHello, sis. I saved that great 'beautiful' meme. You find great ones.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about the treatment Zelensky has received, BUT isn't that kinda similar the way we all talk about Mr. T? Food for thought.
Beautiful blue sky here, but colder again. Later this week it will warm up. It will be below 0F when we come out of karaoke tonight. I am determined to go. We never did make it last week, and I may have a bad sore throat next week with that EGD Thursady.
Took some friends on their shopping trip and just got back. They gave me $20 for gas, even though I told them they didn't need to. AND they bought me lunch, too.
Lucky woke me up at 3:30 AM today, and for once I wasn't able to go back to sleep. My mind was too active. I took a brief nap about 3 hours later. It may get me through karaoke. I may leave early, though. Probably won't make it 'til midnight or later.
All for now, Lynda. Love your son's week plane! {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
VERY cold here--but I hear getting milder next week--WE need "milder"--LOL--oh no a bad sore throat??--from your singing??-- Sunshine here with terribly coldness------- I hope that you get to Karaoke to-nite-- - lotza fun-- I think Matt returns to-morrow-- Hugs, Lynda
DeleteNo, dear. T
DeleteThe sore throat will be (if I have one) from the EGD on my esophagus.
so yu got there??--I hope so -- Lynda
DeleteI like the last saying about keeping your heart beautiful and the rest will fall into place. I wish that we could all learn to keep our voices beautiful also. There is so much negativity these days that it really isn't pleasant anymore to talk to many people. I prefer to think happy thoughts and remember that my glass is half full!
ReplyDeleteThe weather has turned colder again - sure wish Mother Nature would make up her mind. At least the plants are sprouting up so it shouldn't be much longer.
but it WILL be milder next week--At least I hope the weather people are right--Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda: The flight to London would take long enough from here, never mind Vancouver! Those guys in Washington are a piece of work. I feel sorry for Zelensky who they will blame for it. Supposed to get a little warmer this coming week. Hope so. Hugs Brenda
DeleteBrenda--That was very terrible of Mr "T"----treating Zalensky like he did!-- Can yu imagine what kind of kid he was??-- but---- the people in the US voted him in--Lynda
DeleteThat would be 49.4 % of the voters giving him a very slim margin.
DeleteMarti - I've developed a cold since yesterday and all that stuff about Trump made me go back to bed and stay there for a good while. I then decided to go out for some retail therapy and ended up buying a lot of things I had no business buying at the grocery store - sweets, and food with heavy carbs - I'm diabetic. Oh well. It was spitting SNOW today, and I've had it with snow. It just got done melting, all but a few big snowpiles, and now they are talking some snow on Thursday. I want SPRING, darn it. And some sunshine!
ReplyDeleteMarti It will come--=SPRING!-- YU are so funny--diabetic and buying all the--Ive done that --I'm not diabetic but just enjoy all the foods I should not eat--but--what the heck eh?--Spring will get here anyway--LOL--Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda! I talked myself into being Sadie today and after I started the phone would not stop. Yes, I was hoping Mr. Z would not come because the was Mr. T was talking last week I knew it was going to be extra bad! Happy March! We had snow in Ohio this morning. How was your day? Hugs!
ReplyDeleteGood day here--but so cold-==-It will be good to feel Spring eh?--LOL--Lynda
DeleteMy tongue has about been bit in half from not saying what I think about "Mr. T". Nothing is private, you know, and I can't help thinking back to an outing I had back when I was studying German in college. We were meeting with an East German orchestra and the physician that was traveling with them: he made a comment about how the people in the middle of the USSR and the people in the middle of the USA were similar. I was curious and pressed him for why he thought so, and he talked of their expectations: that others coming in should conform to their language and culture, that they should not have to change.
ReplyDeletePraying for the world is a daily thing.
