Good Day--I mean., give yourself, the gift of a "good day"-If you are like me, you might have to tell your brain, that "you" ARE going to make this a good day!--NO MATTER WHAT!!--- Tell yourself that no matter what happens-- no matter the weather--- --- "YOU" can do this--- maybe , just for to-day--because , we are worth it!!
Son#2 is in Vancouver, . going to Britain, overnight to-night-- My Himself seems good---reading his newspapers--which he pours over every morning , for hours--It is nice this am., as we have no cleaning people in--- no dog trainer-- WE ARE ON OUR OWN-- I hope to get groceries early to-morrow morning----before the snow that is predicted ---
-So are you wondering how the cleaners , the "Molly Maidens" turned out yesterday--?? They did their job--but--- Our apartment is small, and life seem a bit crowded in here-- lotza action--- perhaps once a month might be a good idea-- to clean--- the bathroom--kitchen--dust a bit-- We do not need much--It seems our grown children feel we need these "cleaning maidens" more than we find them necessary--Crazy!!!!

Sis, do you wait until Lopez tells you he has to go out? Sometimes we are ready before our pet. Just like as soon as I clean Lucky's box he does his thing there again.
ReplyDeleteI haven't got a call back regarding the household help I qualify for now. It wouldn't be much either. Maybe just vacuuming for me with this heavy, hard to maneuver machine, dusting stuff that's hard for me to reach, etc. But then I'd have a new friend. We could do fun stuff. That's what other residents do here. Play games, go out for lunch...anything we wanted within the time frame allowed.
It's already 42F here...well above freezing. The sky is mostly a beautiful blue with just a few clouds.
Great that Himself has his newspapers. Who knows how much he understands what he reads, but it seems to keep him busy and satisfied.
I wish you could get groceries delivered like I can do. In a way, it's a money saver because you are not tempted with sales and special displays of things you don't need right now.
I am about to go check out the laundry room. Our newest and largest washer is on the fritz again. Only the smaller, older one works. That makes it hard on all of us.
You will see your dear Matt again soon. I'm sure he gets wonderful (and sometimes scary) views of the sky.

Yes, we make our day good or bad by our emotions, that's why we gotta call up good ones by focusing on the things we love and that are going right.

DeleteIt's Kathy. Today will be a good day here too. It's warm outside right now but the temps are dropping as the winds pick up. My wind chimes are singing! I have no where to go today so I can just take care of me - and little Daisy. My husband is in his studio downstairs - he has 2 paintings to finish by Monday! He is a very good procrastinator! So I won't see him much today. We don't get the newspaper anymore but Tom looks at Fox News several times a day! Me - I'd rather just not know what's going on in the world! Have a wonderful day today!

Were you happy with the cleaners? Hope they did a great job on shower and the places none of us like to clean lol. You are paying so indeed you pick how often they come.
Great that Fred enjoys newspaper...so does my himself. We only get Sunday paper as subscription became way too expensive and delivery was very unreliable

DeleteMarti here - do you have some ice grippers that you strap on to your shoes? I wouldn't be able to do without them. With them on, I feel indestructible. Without? I'm afraid to walk. At our condos, I take Jake around the loop, 10 minutes around. They DO do a great job of salting, almost too much so, but at times I have to use the grippers. They are a must, for sure!
