We do NOT want to cluck-
Good Day----SNOWING here AGAIN---- but----lightly--Lordy Be, I was up at 5am----The cleaning Ladies will be here--the Molly Maidens---and Son#2 , the Pilot is in Toronto--waiting to go to Vancouver and a few other cities out west--will return on Sunday--I was going to go for groceries , but, I can wait till to-morrow--or the next day--
I had to help Himself, put one of his ears in--this AM--- Lordy Be! I think we should take out some kind of insurance , in case he loses one of them. It is kinda difficult getting these things into an ear! I can see where they might drop our--and--it doesn't help me too much when he is yelling at me--like---- "Why can't you do as I say?"-- and, "I dld tell you before that it goes this way!"---This man is not an easy person to deal with!-Women must have a thick skin.
Son#2 just texted--said that it's snowing on the runway--he sent the picture below seems like wet snow-
Well, no Molly Maid here yet--but-=we are waiting--Meanwhile--How is YOUR" day going??
Hope that you are hugging your pets--They need a lot of loving too-- "Never stop playing""------great advice from a dog ------AND___-that you feel "strong" on this very snowy day---Make yourself a priority---"Keep your chin up" as my Dad used to say--Do not allow the "crazies" to get you down---AND__--Think "Spring""-- We are almost there!
Good morning, Lynda!
ReplyDeleteWaiting for a maid...yea me, too. I qualified for more social security...a different level. Now I can get a housekeeper, too...and other stuff. I could get Meals on Wheels, too...if they were more to my liking. They have white bread products...not whole grains, too much processed meat, fat, etc. I also got back pay. I'll be able to pay off credit cards, etc.
Here it's over freezing, beautiful blue sky, no rain or snow.
In case you didn't read my comment about it, "Kinship with all Life" has as the main character of the first few chapters a German Shepherd that used to be a movie star. Maybe you have seen some of his movies. Remember Strongheart?
Doing my garbage/recycle stuff today as well as a few more chores.
Himself will get used to his new ears...hopefully. It is difficult dealing with someone with his issues.
I'm sure you'll let us know how the maids work out.
Yesterday you said you liked the new hair lady. I will get that done soon, too.
Later, sis. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
Wow Maggie! YU qualified for a Molly Maiden??--YEAHH!!!!--I remember ""LASSIE""but not "Strong Doggie""-- LOLOL--Yes The Hair Lady--The Pedicure Lady--The Molly Maiden---They all help us old giesers!--LOLOL-- Crazy eh??-- Yu'd think we were helpless!--LOL--We needed this help when our children were babies eh?---Have to get Lopez out-- Wet snow here all over the place-- Hugs my Dear dear friend--Lynda
DeleteDefinitely better to soar w/the Eagles!
ReplyDeleteOn ho, snow. Mother Nature definitely is not ready to give up on Winter.
Hope that the Molly Maids work for you. That is so nice your DS #2 did that for you and Himself.
Does Himself have an in the ear design or one that goes over the ear? Mine is an over the ear with a piece that goes in the ear. And seems much more stable to me that the ones that just go in the ear. Good luck. My audiologist has a one time (she all is) “my dog ate the hearing aide” replacement policy. That is good for 2 yrs. Never had to use that, but . . . there just in case.
Safe flight for DS #2.
Awwwwww, definitely hugging Miss Lilly. She is a dear and just wants to be loved . . . just like Lopez, right!?!
I can’t wait for Spring. Saturday will be meteorological Spring but official astrological spring isn’t til the 22nd. Either way, ready for Spring!
Hugs
barb
Barb--lotza wet snow here-- mild outside--justa huge mess! Yes the Molly aides came--got stuck in the parking area--but they were OK-- students from the University here--=Poor kids eh-- awful jobs jut to get to school-- I told them once a month-I think that is enough-We shall see--????Himself's ear things fit into the rear canal--The ones the cat chewed used to have wires that went over the ears--I shall ask if this Audiologist has a one time plan of , "my cat ate an ear thing-""- Whatta great thing!-- Nice as always to hear from yu, Lynda
DeleteIt's Marti. You know, as expensive as those things are (hearing aids) you'd think they'd have an app for locating them. Do they? I mean, they have an app for locating your Apple airpods, and other devices like Android phones and tablets and such, maybe there's an app for locating your lost hearing aid! If not, they should release one! :) I wonder if they are bluetooth? they'd have to be bluetooth. Just a thought. Sounds frustrating, for sure. I hope to God that I never have to need them, that's for sure! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's what I was thinking. Seems I heard that it was possible to find with an Apple phone but I wouldn't bet on it. Dot
DeleteHi Lynda
ReplyDeleteI'm choosing eagles today.
Great inserts. Thank you.
Trying to put a hearing aid in someone else's ear ain't easy. I know from trying to help my himself. I hope this set doesn't get chewed or lost
You are really pampering yourself this week. Pedicure and house cleaning. Normally, you won't get the same people next time but maybe they do it differently. I hope they did a really good job.for you. Since it's just you two and the pets I'd think monthly would be fine. They can do the bending and shower scrubbing. Hope they did a good job.
Pilot will be back soon. Darn snow up there. It's very windy here but the wind is going to bring us 70F 21.11C ....it won't last but sounds great.
Take care of you and love on himself and the pets.
Hugs and blessings from St.Louis

It's Kathy. It's been a very busy day for me today and I almost forgot to check my favorite blog! I love the picture of the woman hugging the dog - or the dog hugging the woman. When I came home from Pilates tonight Daisy came running out of the house to give me kisses and tell me to hurry up getting out of the car! No one else ever greets me with that much happiness! I'm sorry about the snow - none here yet but I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't come again soon. I hope the cleaning ladies came and did a great job for you! Take care and enjoy your evening.
ReplyDeleteHi Lynda! You have been busy this week with new things. It is rainy and very windy in Ohio. Had light snow in the rain earlier and thundering. Crazy weather. Spring is coming! Hope the hearing aids get easier. My tinnitus drives me nuts. My doctor says nothing you can do about it. There is a list of causes but never checks a thing! How was your day? Hugs!
