Enjoy to-day--no matter what happens---

Do you have crazy days--?--I mean, days where things do not go right--or , the day is mixed up, or something important , goes wrong, right off the bat--Yesterday , my day was like that---I got to  do what I was supposed to do, but whatever I  tried to do, did not turn out like it was supposed to-

-For instance----  for me to get to the hair  dresser, it is easier  if I walk-- It is --like 3 blocks away--This Lady said, "I find your hair colour too light--"---and, "How be I tone it down a bit"---AND SHE DID----  AND I LET HER--because I thought she knew what she was doing--I NOW HAVE A FUNNY TONE OF BLACK HAIR----It does not look good!-- I suppose it can be rectified--but----   I'm afraid if I do too much to it, it just all might fall out--and I had to pay this Hair Lady a lot--I do not know what to do---  maybe wash it --and hope some of the black colour washes out--

To-day , it is cold out side--like--VERY COLD----  Parka weather--  I do hear that Spring is in the air--somewhere---We all know that eventually it will come--It will be exciting to go outside WITHOUT a parka on---

"Gung hei fat choy"----  which means,  "Happy New Year"  in Chinese, and this evening, Himself , and I, and son #2 and wife, are heading out to eat a  Chinese meal--and more good news, Himself's "Ears" are in--in Peterborough--which means a trip into the city, AGAIN, --but it will be wonderful for Himself to hear what is said-----if they work---

How is your day going?--- Are you able to cope with what is happening in your life today---It might be a day where you just might have to do something fun--like----

I shall be thinking of you--
I hope that you can enjoy every moment to-day--even if things do not turn out the way you thought----You might like having blackish hair ----Lordy be!-----(It looks bad tho! )

I must learn to just accept what each day brings---'specially when we cannot change things--

  1. Good morning, Lynda! Wash your hair in very warm water to get the color out a bit. I was always told not to use very warm water with new color but in your case you want to wash it out! Yes, I had a week of craziness then my husband got the flu and now me! On top of my tinnitus. Also, my mom’s house was broke in to, again! I had my nephew to install cameras. I have a tile man coming Monday to fix tile that the window company dropped a drill on. I must take dogs to day care for that. It never ends so I can relate to what you mean. Enjoy the dinner out. You need that! Oh, hope the ears work perfectly! Let us know. Snowing in Ohio just lightly and warming up soon. My husband is going for grocery pickup and bringing lunch. Have a fabulous Friday! Hugs!

  2. Good morning, sis. Yes, we all have days like that! I seemed to be having one already today, but I managed to solve one riddle. I could not get hold of a customer service rep to help me log in to my mobile phone carrier. The site would not let me log in with my saved password! After several attempts, I finally managed to change it. Now I can see I am able to upgrade. There have been several newer models out since I got this old one.
One more important call to make, maybe laundry and kitchen floor, too.
It's a tad warmer today, sunny with blue skies. It's at least over freezing. It is supposed to be 7.778C (46F) on Sunday! I can hardly wait. I haven't been out for days.
Lucky is here by me waiting to play.
I am wondering if you got my wee package yesterday? You will be amazed at 'Kinship with all Life.' The other one is written and signed by my friend. I had hoped the 2nd in the series would be out now, but not quite.
I must tend to my roommate now, but I'll be back. I hope the rest of today is easier and more pleasant for all of you
Are you doing the trip to get Himself's ears today?
Enjoy your Chinese food. Yum! {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  3. Hi Lynda, going out for Chinese food sounds fabulous. You'll all enjoy that! Pilot son is so thoughtful.
Hope new aids do the job. Hope Fred wears them.
Re hair...I'd call beautician and tell her you hate it. She has the correct chemicals to take it out. Washing it likely won't do much. Beautician needs to FIX IT and you may want to search for someone else to do your hair. I think you'd prefer an in home shop. Hoping you get it resolved quickly to your satisfaction. You have to call beautician. It's your right.
    Hope today goes well.
Still crazy cold here but by Sunday it's predicted to be more normal temps. I'm ready. That darn groundhog!
Love and big hugs from St.Louis

  4. OMG the hair color story! Unrelated to "days like that" (which as Maggie said, we all have)... I once let a stylist turn me into a brunette and it was a disaster until it wore off! I don't even remember if the stylist suggested it, or my husband, or maybe even it was ME, in a fit of cabin / spring fever, but it made me look like a different woman! The neighbors were going to tell me that they saw my husband through the windows dancing with "some strange woman"... which as it turned out, was me. I looked in the mirror and saw... my mother. It really kind of freaked me out.

This morning started out weird when the phone said "No Service" but thank goodness the internet was working, so I could message all the people I know who might be tempted to call me and assume the worst if I didn't answer. After I took Ember to her doggy day care... the phone was back with bars again.

Oh, well... hope you have a wonderful Chinese food celebration! Hang in there and stay strong, my friend!

  5. I agree with Marge; tell the beautician you hate the color, didn't realize how dark she meant to make it and ask her to fix it for free. The worst she can do is say no. Even if she does, you might want to find another beautician or be very firm going in about showing her what you want in future. (When I want to change my cut, I always go in with pictures on my phone to show my stylist, and I ask her if it will work with my hair and face ... and we decide together how to proceed. That way I get the best cut for me, and the benefit of her expertise.)

So glad your husband's new 'ears' are in and so hoping they work well for him.

    Enjoy your supper out!

  6. Oh no on the hair color! *SIGH* Hope that some of the dark color washes out! Agree w/telling the stylist that you do NOT like such a dark color, fix it, please! And if it’s not done for free, I would consider finding another stylist (I know . . . easier said than done!) Good luck.

I SURE HOPE that the aides work for Himself. Just got my new aides 2 weeks ago, had a check on Tuesday and all is working well. Makes such a huge difference!

DH has OT today, so driving him there, have to pay a bill and get cottage cheese (forgot yesterday when I did freggie shopping. Darn!)

Glad you got to enjoy Chinese food w/DH, and DS #2 and DIL. Lovely!

    Hope today is better.

    Hugs and blessings

  8. It's Kathy. I'm so sorry about your hair. What a mess, and you had to pay for your dissatisfaction. I love the color of your own hair. Mine turned white shortly after my twins were born. My mom always colored her hair and she nagged and nagged at me to do the same to mine. I trusted my hairdresser and she did a good job, BUT within a couple of weeks my own roots were showing. I went back and she colored it back to my natural color. Never will I ever let anyone do anything to my hair again - except cut it the way I want it! I hope you can take care of this! It has finally come out of the negative numbers today - and we have sunshine. They tell us it will be almost normal for the end of February by this weekend. I'm so happy about that! I hope today goes better for you!
