Lynda, it's cold here, too. We actually have a cold weather advisory tomorrow. Snow showers are predicted, but there is not a notification about a major storm. Sometimes we get it a day or two after you do. Depends on which direction it moves...east or southeast.
ReplyDeleteDo you use Vaseline on Lopez's paws to protect them?
Yes, gf, I am happy. Still in the midst of my morning routine. Haven't had breakfast yet.
I will go out to the post office to send stuff to you and get a couple groceries I forgot in my order. Maybe get a load of laundry done, too. And I have some mending to do. Saying that reminds me of my mom. I can see her with that think she'd put in to toe...darning socks.
Spring is getting closer. Closer to going out without heavy coats, hats, boots and gloves...closer to my lilacs. It's hard to wait.
About the memes today? I feel either none of us is more special than the next person or we are ALL special. I like the last.
{{{HUGS}}} Love, your sis, Maggie
Good idea to use vaseline on Lopez paws--never thought of that==great idea!-Maggie not a good day to-day--Himself kinda grouchy-- and hard to deal with--- big storm going on here this evening--lotza snow falling-- Hugs to yu dear one==Lynda
DeleteSnowstorm here, too. Mother Nature is just plain nasty. *SIGH*
ReplyDeleteDefinitely no sun here. Have stocked up as we are in for 12+ inches of snow between now and Saturday . . . possibly more after. NOOooo. Enough is enough. Snug as a bug in a rug inside, though. And Miss Lilly will have to use the peep pads as it’s too cold and snowy.
Had to cancel the grooming appt. for tomorrow for Miss Lilly, unfortunately. Will reschedule.
Stay warm, stay dry!
Hugs

Lopez used the pee pads in hee to-nite as its snowing quite hard outside-- Difficult day with Himself--Yeah--Looks like tomorrow will be very snowy--Lynda
DeleteYep, cold and white down here. Amazing that it waited until the second week of February to get this way! I got the "Pioneer Woman" spirit in me and went to the dentist this morning... lots of their folks were canceling appointments... so much so the hygienists were cleaning one another's teeth when two of them had cancellations at the same time! I never thought of that, but it sure makes sense.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good "snow day", even without a hair day!
Snowing here this evening-- Lopez had a good dAy---Himself-=-not so good!-- Why can't they both be goopdrh?--LOLOL--Oh well-- Hugs , Lynda
DeleteIt's Kathy. We just have cold - it will be below 0 for about the next 2 weeks - not warming up very much during the day. I'm actually very tired of winter already, but we've been lucky. The one time they predicted a big winter storm, we only got about 4 inches! There are flurries in the future but not really snow. I'm sorry Lopez is giving you a hard time. I wonder if he's still adjusting to his new location. I hope he settles down soon. Daisy was so excited that I was home from the gym today that I heard her barking as I was pulling into the garage - that's new! Then she barked at me when I came inside and ran around the house like the old Crazy Daisy she was when she was young. My mom's hair day was always on Thursday and I remember one year when I wouldn't have even driven I called her to say "stay home today". But nope, she would not give up hair day! She was fine, but I was concerned!!! I think you're wise to pass. But I do hope the storm isn't as bad as they are predicting! Enjoy your day.
ReplyDeleteGuess what??--Lopez had the best day ever--I find now he goes into his crate when I tell him to and it settles him, right down--Lotza snow falling here--will be a bad day to-morrow--a ""dig out" day--Lynda

Crate is good for Lopez.

DeleteMarti here. In Central Ohio, cold and raining. High 33. Fog due. May snow/rain on Saturday, the day my bf and I had planned to go out to celebrate Valentine's Day at a nice restaurant (they were having a mystery dinner on Friday, actual VD Day). Hope we can get there okay. It's a little farther away than we normally go.
