Another day--Another dollar!

GOOD MORNING TO YOU___------sending happy thoughts yer way---and-a little sunshine--a new day-and--WE ARE A PART Of IT!!--Holy Cow!   We are so fortunate--!----

I just changed our bed--  I mean Sushi, Lopez and  my b ed--It is still the King Bed--so, not the easiest to change--The sheets  are in the washer right now!   Whenit it is  daylight, I will take Lopez out--It seems too warm in this tiny house this AM--It must be mild outside. It looks dark out still also--

Well, yesterday, I went all out--bought a new sofa--will give the leather love seat (which I was using as a sofa)-to Son#3 who will give it to one of his daughters who is at University in Ottawa--My legs hung over the end of that love seat--so it will be good to have a sofa that I fit on--I really hated to spend the money --but--finally decided that no-one is going to donate a sofa to me--so I better get out there and do it myself!

And my workman who helps me so much, came over yesterday to cut the tiny back yard--sharpened the blades  on the lawn mower--then cut the grass--SO SO nice of him1--also, fixed the drain hose on the new little dishwasher---What on earth would I ever do without this guy?-- Of course I do reimburse him, and he sure is "worth his weight in gold"--Mom's expression there!--I remember her always saying that!---Funny how you remember all her expressions isn't it?   WEIRD!

It seems like it is nearly daylight out there--so Lopez and I must "hoof it" up the road----lovely weather this fall--so mild!

One more thing-----Are you feeling strong??---"HAPPY?----because if you are, your day will be a good day-- oh--a blast from the past--below--Emma----  now in her 2nd yr University--

Fred--and the dogs---  winter time--in the dog pen--

Andie---  now all grown up--with her other Grandmother--

Lopez and I are out of here--- I hope that your day is perfectly delightful-- Make it a day to remember-- Put yer best foot in front of the other--and--I SHALL SEE YOU LATER-- BE STRONG______

  3. It's Kathy. Love receiving the happy thoughts and sunshine. I sure need them today. It's cooler outside for us today with some strong winds. A couple small branches came down during the night. The pain in my right side/back kept me up quite a bit last night. I sure hope that improves one of these days soon. Love the photos you posted! I'm so glad you bought a couch that works for you! Sometimes we just have to take care of ourselves! Have a good day.

  4. Good morning, sis!
I AM feeling strong today! My rib isn't hurting as much. Maybe it's just a bruise not a crack.
I have some Amazon orders coming...one today (wild caught tuna) and others in a couple days. Have you discovered that at the top of the Amazon main page you can click on "Haul" and find amazing deals?
Love your blasts from the past, as always. Himself, kids, dogs...lots of the 'good stuff.' Saved that 'weird' meme, too. I will share it on my FB page.
You are blessed to have your hany man. He helps you, you help him by reimbursing him. That's the way life is supposed to go!
I didn't go to karaoke last night...very sore with that rib. Also, I have started loving my space and my routine that I am happy here.
    I hope Lopez was productive.
I will be back later, too. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  5. Always good to see you up and at 'em. Our livestock keeps us getting up in the morning! Same here. Get up feed the cat, feed and walk the dog, before it's light enough to walk maybe toss her some glow in the dark balls to fetch. Take her on a ritual car ride through the coffee drive-thru. Today we went to the recycle center to drop off the plastic and Metal and glass empties.

Life goes on! Live well and be kind.
