ReplyDeleteIt's cooling off here too. I am sitting here with a blanket on my legs as I type this. I guess we better start getting ready for the cold weather because it's coming whether we like it or not.
Today I need to get some cardio in and then clean the bathrooms. Sounds like you are getting stuff done as well.
Have a good day!

DeleteGood morning, sis. Glad you got time to do a short blog. Did you look at our comments on the last couple?
ReplyDeleteIt's darker when I get up, too. And colder! Yesterday it was so windy...that made the temp seem colder. Weathermen will start talking about the wind chill.
That food! Looks like a mess on the plate, but I bet it sure is tasty!
Was going to have to take a friend on an errand almost an hour away. Thankfully, he cancelled.
I seem to sometimes have difficulty telling people, "No."
You get to your stuff, I'll get to mine, and we'll both check back later.
{{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

DeleteGood morning, Lynda. It's Kathy. I just got back from having my MRI and CT Scan. The CT was easy, but the MRI was very hard this time because the pain in my back makes it very hard for me to lie on my back with my legs out. They did have a cushion for under my knees, but the pain was awful! I'm so glad I'm home now. I don't think I told you yesterday how much I like your new couch! It looks really nice in your new home. Also enjoy the photos of Son #2's dinners and yes, that looks like a lot of food! I'm just waiting now for the results! It's chilly here too - finally had to turn on the heat! Have a good day.
ReplyDeleteThe sofa is very comfortable-- Hope that MRI helps yu-- so much pain eh??-I am sorry bout that-Lynda

DeleteHi Lynda, you've been a busy bee this morning. I love the 3 generation photo of Himself, your son and grandson, especially with those rosy chubby cheeks. See, you were able to talk with and help each other when you spoke with your friend who lost her husband several years ago. You haven't mentioned the bereavement group. When does it meet? Enjoy the rest of your day.
ReplyDeleteMaureen from California
The Bearevement group begins a couple weeks and goes on very long--Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda. Oh gosh, if I had the money, I'd just plan a trip somewhere, by myself, where there are fun activities, etc. Or a cruise! My late husband and I took a couple of cruises, and really, I probably had more fun on my own. He was elderly, much older than I, and not very well - congestive heart failure, COPD, and so I'd get up and go do the events I wanted to do and he'd still be in bed. I ice skated on this big fancy ship, how many people can say they ice skated on the ocean? I had to hold on to this kid's hand, who was the son of our tablemates, but I made it once around, and that was enough of that, LOL.
ReplyDeleteAnother time, he and I miscommunicated, and he went out on one of our excursions and I wasn't there because I missed the time somehow. It was God - that kept me from going, because he told me the small boat they were on rocked back and forth, and I would have been sick as a dog. I think it was a small boat you could go on and you would look at the stars. I would have been with my head over the side, barfing!
Anyway, yeah, I'd go somewhere, alright, if I were rich! Maybe my friend Lucy could go, too, she's probably the only one I could stand along with me, haha. But when you go with someone, you have to compromise and all that, and worry if you snored, etc. Who needs that? :)
Marti
Marti I really want to go on a trip--and I will-- LOL-- Yer trip sounds like fun-Lynda
