Strong, Beautiful, Fearless, and Wise

It is Tuesday, October 14th--  -just in case you wondered--We have sunshine with cool temperatures--  It is light out--in fact, the sun is shining--NO SNOW FALLING HERE YET----  but--It is coming--  one day--sooner than later--

Lopez and I have been out--around the block and--HE DID HiS BUSINESS-----and he ment a few of his "dog friends"--

So, it is Himself's and my  59th wedding anniversary--To tell you the truth, I thought it was our 60th Wedding Anniversary--but our daughter called, and told me--59 yrs--- married for 59 yrs----  Does not seem long enough--

--so, a few "blasts from the past"---

This little girl has now graduated from University--

Fred and I in Medina Ohio--visiting our daughter --and there is her daughter-

Son#2 with his daughter--who is now finished University

and there she is with her Dad--

So--lotza fun over the years--lotza wonderful children--  good times with them all--and a husband who loved all the children--and the Grandchildren-- and who would ever think eh--  59 yrs ago--these children did not exist--

One never knows what life will bring--  Enjoy every day--One can never ever dream of  what will happen in your day, and how it can create your future--and affect  your life!--That is probably a good thing--    Be positive---Be Happy--and accept what reach day brings-- your future--   59 years later, ----will be there for you to enjoy--JUST  remember-----and tell yourself--

  3. Good morning, sis.
I don't know if it's right to wish you happy anniversary, but I am.
The blasts from the pasts are great. What lots of grandkids you have. How many total? I have 11 and 3 from my former partner, too. I am glad you are focusing on the good memories.
You didn't mention your Thanksgiving...how it went...how the pies turned out, etc.
It's cloudy and cool here, too. Juat 49F.
Because I will miss my afternoon nap, I got up real early. I'll get some more snooze now so I will be up by the time I have to take 'Becca and Lily to the vet. I'll 'see' you later, Lynda. Enjoy a day of rest, I trust.
    {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
I'm taking 'Becca to get her cat's rabies shot...it's required here even for indoor cats. I will pay and she will pay me back a bit at a time.
My Lucky's shot will be next Monday. I had to order a new carrier for him. It will arrive tomorrow.

  4. Hi Lynda! Happy 59th Anniversary! I hope you will enjoy some ice cream. Can’t wait for you to visit Medina. Lovely in Ohio today. Sunny. Hopefully, in the Spring. I didn’t care for my new doctor yesterday. He changed my meds my old doctor had me on for 5 years but just did not like him. I go back in a year so I will let it go and not worry about it. Enjoy your day! Make it a good one with whatever comforts you. Hugs!

  5. Good Morning Lynda, 59 years wow what an accomplishment! My hubby and I are married 53 going on 54 next May. We were babies when we got married. Seems like yesterday. I am wishing you all the best today, as I know this will be hard one for you. Relish in all your memories of everything as those moments are still precious. Take care and have a great day.

  6. It's Kathy. Love all the photos! Today we have rain - early this morning with more coming later today. It's cloudy and very cool today - had to turn on the heat again. Congratulations on 59 years together - I believe that was how long my parents were married before my father passed away. I remember celebrating their anniversary with my mom that year. Tom and I have only been married for 30 years but it does seem like a lifetime! Have a good day!

  11. Yeah, I dunno if I should wish you a "happy" anniversary or not either, but it's a happy remembrance anyway, of the wonderful times you two shared and the big happy family you have created together.
