May your soul be touched with the magic of music!

Good Morning--  almost 8am here--  Heat is on-- I think rain is falling outside--Lopez is curled up on the chair--and the fire is on--dark here still tho--It is so so hard to get out of bed, isn't it, when it is cold and dark--

My new thermometer--taped to the outside of the patio door-
Lopez and I have not been out yet--AND NOW IT IS RAINING!  Holy cow!
So hard isn't it, to get out of bed, in the fall/winter--

So, yesterday I got my hair done--and, to-day, Gil , my workman, will be here to help me put a couple huge mirrors in the spare bedroom--
And, in Canada, now, there is a mail strike--I went to send a gift to Ohio, and our post office was closed-so sad as -this Grandchild is waiting for his Birthday gift--  He lives in Ohio--

Below--my "tiny house--I hope that your day is going well--If it isn't---
"MAKE" it go well--Tell yourself that "you" CAN do this--Talk to people you meet outside on your dog walk--One never knows what they are going thru--

AND----play that piano--sing that song--
Enjoy the music---
Your "soul" will thank yu
and a few blasts from the past--
"ME"---  happy

So so many memories--good memories--

  1. Good morning sis.
It's due to be 70F here today, and there's a hazy sun.
I'm happy your heat is on. Ours is, too. Thankfully, we have a new maintenance man.
Always love your photos. That darling Sophia, Himself with one of your Germans and beautiful YOU!
Aren't you glad that you have your 'old' hair stylist back?
I have a lot done here already and still more to go. May go for my flu shot, too.
I'll be back later, Lynda, and I WILL have a good day with music, Lucky and positive thoughts. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  2. Good morning Lynda, great news that you found your birthday book. I envy you your cooler weather. We had a great rain on Wed. and cooler temps appropriate for this time of year. Now today it's going to be 83 and tomorrow 87 degrees here in SO. California . Whoever said climate change was a hoax is a fool, and you may know of whom I'm speaking. I hope you have a wonderful weekend, rain or shine.

  3. It's Kathy. Love the photos. Yes it's hard to get out of bed when it's dark and cold outside! We haven't gotten there yet but it's coming. I didn't sleep very well again last night - not sure how to fix that! Tom took me out for a bit and I do feel better! I hope you are able to get out with Lopez!

  4. Hi Lynda! It is sunny and 66 in Ohio but lots of rain this weekend. Yes, hard to get out of bed dark and cold but coffee gets me right up. Sweet Lopez. My yorkies wouldn’t go for wearing a leash inside. Tommy would chew it right off. LOL How is your day going? Hope it’s great! Always love your pics. So nice! Hugs!

  5. Hi Lynda, several things.

I want to see a picture of your kitchen, I kinda envision the rest of the place, but not the kitchen.

And, you look really pretty in that photo!

Love the rest of the pictures, too.

Good you are getting the spare room settled. :)

Well, after that treadmill exercise yesterday, I again, as usual, overdid. It was so fun with my dance music on, I kept going. Then in bed every one of my tendons down my legs from my hips onward were throbbing. Who would have thunk just walking can use that many muscles and tendons, I've never hurt there before like this. I went to bed with my heated pad on my back, the kind that warms with just the air. I woke up in the night and remember digging into the knots on the lower calf muscle to try to get them to release. Lots of Advil today. I DO hope I can use the treadmill. It's so cute and tiny and a wonderful tool to stay fit, if only my body will cooperate.

I worked 9:30 to 5 today, since my new fridge is on the fritz already, after 4 just years, and I have a person coming between 9-11 on Monday. Everything in the refrigeration compartment is iced over. And it's making a loud noise! Things seem to not be made how they used to be made, despite the fanciness and ice and water at the touch of a button, sigh.

Rain, not yet, here. But coming Sunday, they say. One day of a heatwave - tomorrow supposed to be 83. I do not like that at all. I am ready for steady fall weather. Oh well. It's not up to me, ha.

  6. Awww, cool and rainy here. Little Lopez looks so comfy!

Definitely hard to get out of bed when it’s cool and dark! What we do for our fur babies!

LOVE the blast from the past photos.

So sorry to hear about the mail strike. **SIGH** Hope that your grandson’s present gets posted sooner than later!

LOVEd that last meme. Brought tears to my eyes. Thanks for sharing.

  7. Hi Lynda
Great you found your missing book.
Are you expecting company? Just being nosy as you're having Gil hang mirrors in spare room. Too bad you aren't ready to hang photos and clocks yet as he could take care of all of it.
Supposed to rain here Saturday. We'll see. It's dangerously dry and still in the 80s.
Enjoy your day. Play your piano, sing and dance.
    Be well
