Make each day count!

YES! We must  "make each day count--EVERY DAY! -----
and is that easy?--  NO! IT IS NOT!----
Our days are limited----I do forget that however--think I will go on forever--
WE DO NOT GO ON FOREVER__
"MAKE THE DAYS COUNT!"

To-day , so far, I am relaxing--because, it's Halloween--Lord love a Duck---LOTZA SHENANIGANS
GOING ON TO_NIGHT__AND  WE HAVE TO BE A PART OF IT! __so-------

Last night, a text came over my phone--Angie's daughter in the US., sent it from the US-said her Mom in Jamaica  was able to text her to say they are all OK--no phone service at her hotel, but she found service closer to Montego Bay--I was very happy to hear again from her!--  We do rely on our phones don't we?--And if we cannot phone, we text----

A few "blasts from the past" here--It looks like, "dancing on the dock"
on Dunlop Lake--Kids eh??

and the famous picture of Allison and her Dad--out in Vancouver-- It brings so many happy memories back--

Below---Son #2 with his daughter-- now she is finished her University courses

and below---Fred and I-- after Son#3 graduated from Police  school--
We were so so proud of him!

Memories , where each day really did count!
MAKE EVERY DAY COUNT---  MAKE MEMORIES___ Life is so worth it!
BE STRONGER THAN YOU EVER THOUGHT YOU COULD BE!

  2. Happy Halloween!
Your house looks cute with all the Halloween decorations. I tried to comment yesterday but then your post disappeared just as I was commenting. Now it's back today. Weird!
Glad to hear the relatives in Jamaica are ok. I saw pictures on the news about all the devastation from the hurricane. Awful.

Tonight we will have trick or treaters up and down our street. I was going to run an errand after dinner but then I remembered it is Halloween and the street will be crowded with people. So, I will go another day.
    Happy Halloween and Happy Friday!

  3. Good morning, sis.
Yes, it's Halloween. Many of our residents will be in the vestibule starting about 3 PM to welcome trick-or-treaters.
The photos are amazing as always. Love that lake and all the kids. And you both with your police academy graduate...just wonderful.
I got back taking 'Becca for her drugs and picking up a grocery order for me. Almost lunch time and snuggle with Lucky time now.
No mention of Lopez or the weather there.
Here it's above freezing, but cloudy.
I'll be back later, Lynda. Hope your day proceeds as you want it to. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  4. It's Kathy. Thank you for the Halloween wishes, Happy Halloween back to you. It will be a quiet day for us. No one comes to our home because we're on a busy road. And that's okay for me - don't have to buy candy that I would end up eating! My grandsons will be with their dad for the weekend and I just hope he takes good care of them! Love the photos - dancing on the deck and you and himself look so happy on that double bike! Such great memories. I hope you have a great day today!

  5. So glad to hear your family members are safe in Jamaica. I think of you every time the news shows the impacts. People are more important than things. I think of that as my son's father in law is currently in hospital. He's of my own generation, and they are figuring things out.

Ready for the goblins down here, have my "stuff" in the garage closet so the dog and cat don't get into them before the human costumes show up!
