Hi Lynda
ReplyDeleteSounds like you all enjoyed a nice BD celebration.
Pilot son sure does eat. It would be so nice if you hopped on a plane with him. Just a short jaunt....would be fun, j you'd be safe and find great places to eat.
Have a great day. Drizzling rain here.
Hugs

DeleteHi Lynda, it's Kathy. Sounds like a lovely celebration of himself's 97th birthday! I'm glad you enjoyed being with your family. Today Tom and I are driving up to Sartell, MN (about an hour) to see our Grandson Aaden be confirmed. Kind of a special day and thank goodness it's a nice day! And I finally had a good nights' sleep! Love Son #2's breakfast. Must be what they call a full English breakfast. I'm reading a book series written by an English man and he refers to that quite often! Enjoy your day today!
ReplyDeleteMatt sure loves his food---And good for yu to visit that Grandson--Is he one of the ones yer daughter has to deal with??--What good Grandparents yu are!-- He will remember yer visit--Lynda
DeleteGood Morning!
ReplyDeleteThat's nice you were able to celebrate himself's birthday with some of your family.
Hubby and traveled about 2 1/4 hours one way to visit with my Mom in Ohio, we are in Kentucky. I took homemade soup, crusty bread, and Strawberry Rhubarb pie for lunch. Hubby and I aren't lunch eaters, so that was pretty much lunch and dinner for us.
It was a nice visit especially since I don't get up there as much as a should. We also went to the cemetery where my Dad and both sets of my Grandparents are buried. Then we got in the car and drove 2 1/4 hours back.
It was a long day, especially sitting in the car that long, but all in all, a nice day and a nice visit .
Have a wonderful day, Lynda!
Jackie
OH Jackie--=Yer Mom must've appreciated yer visit sO so much! That was so nice of you to visit with her!--- And even your Dad was happy--even tho he is in the Grave--I am sure he saw yu! Whatta good daughter yu are!--Lynda
DeleteGood morning, sis.
ReplyDeleteIt's cold here, too, but not down to the freezing level. The sky is a bright and beautiful blue.
I am happy the party for Himself went well. Trust me, he was there and heard you sing to him...and he IS watching over all of you!
The breakfast looks amazing! I'd need to order half or request a "doggie bag."
I have already accomplished a huge load of laundry. Now I'm working on getting kitty throw up off the rug. It happens when Lucky eats too fast.
I got the wrong day for the play with my daughter so, Tuesday I have the car detailed and Wednesday I go back to Cindy.
Almost time to put the clothes in the dryer and start another load. I will be back to check in later.
Hope your day goes well and Lopez and you don't freeze. Are you putting Vaseline on this paw pads before he goes in the snow and ice?
{{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
So glad that you had a good time when you celebrated Fred's birthday

What a precious memory to hold on to as the days go by. Are you sure Fred knows and appreciates how much you still love and miss him.
ReplyDeleteWe used to celebrate my husband's birthday - the first few years after his death, but now I just have a mass for him on his birthday and my kids usually try to attend it with me. It has been 6 years and 7 months since he has passed and I still miss him every day!
