It is November 22nd--and it is Saturday-- I just called Amazon.ca--- -cancelled my membership--am pretty cheesed off with them---Remember the pads??--all over the front lawn? Lord love a Duck!-I have stored them in my storage room-- seems like 500 boxes of pads--takes up the whole storage room--Now---- I did order 2 Humidifiers--and now I see they are sending me 2 more--which I did not order--- I just called AMAZON -in CANADA_- cancelled my subscription--with them--- like forever!!! ---- I am pretty upset--because this Amazon people do whatever they want--then charge me for their mistake--so--I cancelled my subscription completely with Amazon--so mad at them---
And that is why I am late blogging--and also why poor Lopez cannot get out to do his business!--What a smoz eh??-Have any of you had the same problem with Amazon??--kinda drives one crazy!
Anyway--I must get Lopez out--and I shall never order from Amazon ever again--Have any of you had the same problem with them??--
OK--Son #2 IS winging his way home from Zurich, Switzerland----He did send pictures of his meals--

Hi Lynda, sorry about the problems with Amazon. If I were you, I would ask one of your sons to look at your account information on-line to make sure that your subscription has been canceled. Better yet, cancel it on line so you have a paper trail rather than relying on someone's word over the phone.

DeleteAmazon will definitely cancel your account because they're just about to pay settlements to many former customers who weren't able to cancel theirs. The thing about canceling your account, though, is you're also cutting off being able to purchase books for your Kindle. You will still be able to download books from other sources and from the public library but it will probably involve some extra steps.

DeleteI am sorry, Lynda. I too, would be frustrated with a company if something keeps happening like that, but I would have them look at your account and explain what happened to make sure you are not doing something wrong on your end. I mean, twice now, that seems strange. But yes, if that keeps happening, perhaps it is best you do not use them.

Couldn't you send all those pads back at their expense?

I got the results of my thyroid test...it's within normal limits.
I will have to wait at least until the end of next week to get the results of all the biopsies they did on my esophagus.
Sorry you had to cancel Amazon...I couldn't do without them.

DeleteI very rarely order from Amazon because I don’t want my money to go to a billionaire and they are responsible for putting lots of other businesses, including small businesses, out of business. I know they are convenient, and mostly affordable, but I would rather give my money to anyone but them. Okay, off my soap box now.😀sorry you have had a couple of bad experiences with them, but don’t let it ruin your day! Enjoy dinner with your son, sounds like a nice way to spend the evening.
