Be Positive, Happy, Bold. Loving, Confident, Generous---

Good Morning to you---To-day is  Monday, November 17th--smile--Believe in yourself!

It is cold--kinda dismal out there--but--I do see the sun , WAY_E_E_EE over there--Lopez and I have to "hit the road" soon--The wash is nearly done-- Sushi is fed--and her litter cleaned up--That is always quite a job in the morning----enough to put one off having a cat--but--I found her--  Remember??--She was eating birdseed on our deck--and she was a wee small kitten--less than 6 mos old--I had to trap her and she lived under Fred's side of the bed for a good 6 mos----Life is tough when there are thousands of cats out there--and a lot without a home!--oh--The wash is done--

I did go out to Son#1's house last evening_AGAIN!__This time however, I did drive home just before the darkness hit!---  When I drove into our driveway, it was dark however--no snow falling tho! I did meet a friend of our family. yesterday for lunch also----at Tim Hortons--I had never been inside
"Timmys" before--Lotza people eating in there--and they have a huge menu--
Below---my tiny table and chairs--kinda cute!

So, are you"HAPPY" this AM?--You do know that there are many days that one must "fake" it--till you make it""_- I mean, pretend to be happy, because it's better than feeling sad--

Let's rethink "OLD"--When I was 70, my Mom was 92--so I was still sorta a kid--It's all in the way one thinks isn't it??--If you feel young, you probably ARE young!

"Words of Wisdom"
#1---No one but yourself can be blamed for the loss of your soul
#2--Your mirror will tell you what none of your friends will  not
and--#3---Tears are AGENTS OF HEALING
a blast from the past--
And , below--just look at Son#2's wee daughter-Hannah---my heart goes out to her--Now--finished University-

Hannah below--a tad older--with Grampa and I-- walking dogs
I must stop  here---  get Lopez out--  and some house-y stuff done--It's a new day--and here we are-a part of it!
Remember---to-day---to be---

  1. Good morning, sis.
It's probably colder where you are. We're just at 35F...above freezing anyway. The sky is still cloudy. Maybe the sun will show later.
Sushi looks alot like the kitty I had in Chicago.
Yes, your table and chair set up is really cute. Now you have another place to put your laptop.
Hannah in that one blast from the past looks like she'd rather be anywhere else. The one of you and Fred with the dogs is great. Love your smile.
I saved a meme today...love the idea of rethinking old.
Oh! We didn't know what was wrong with 'Becca. Turns out it was a UTI. The cause different symptoms when they aren't treated early...make you really sick if you're an older woman. She is on a medication for diabetes that makes UTIs much more likely.
I got 'housy stuff' to do, too. Don't we all! I'll be back later on to check. Have a happy day yourself, Lynda!! {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  2. It's Kathy. I love the expression on little Hannah's face! She is adorable. So many memories. I was thinking this morning about my oldest (and only) granddaughter. I see her so seldom but I want her to know some of our family's history. I'm thinking I might need to write it all down so one day she will know my parents and grandparents. My dad had already passed away and my mom passed away as we were driving home from Roanoke a couple months before Faith was born. They have both been gone over 20 years now and I miss them so much some days!
I have almost always had at least one cat in my home but Sheba passed away at 18 maybe 3 years ago and I have to say, I miss her but not the responsibility of cleaning up her littler box! I hope you have a good day. We may have snow when we wake up tomorrow. It's late coming but winter always comes!

  3. Good morning, Lynda! Sunny but cold in Ohio! Your little table is cute! I can imagine putting Fred’s pic on the wall right there. Glad you met a family friend out. How nice! I must head to the grocery to finish up Thanksgiving needs. I usually order but in case they don’t have things I can go in and get myself. My lower back hurts today so this shall be fun. Hope you have a marvelous Monday! Hugs!

  4. Hi Lynda; I haven't been able to comment the last few days. Love your little table. Sounds like your becoming more accustomed to being alone in your little house! That is good. And you're doing good with coming home in the dark which I'm not doing and it's getting dark awful early now! Glad you were introduced to someone to meet for coffee. Hugs Brenda
