Better than it could be!-----always--

It is Thursday, Nov. 20th-- dark--cold--I am up--because I have to go for breakfast with a friend--then---get to the clinic and get my couple of sutures out--then the Pharmacy for my pill pack--and before all that--get little Lopez out- to do his business--

Yesterday was the Bereavement Course-----and of course, it was so good--sad--lots of tears--but--it is helping-- --very time consuming  tho--

Last night I drove out to Son#1's house--had supper   with them , and made it back here just before dark.

I do hope that "your" day-"-to-day"--is the best ever----Make it that way--I will not add too much here yet--as it is going to be a very busy morning--and I must get little Lopez out--and I hear Sushi yodelling upstairs for her breakfast--Lory Be!----never a dull moment here--

                                                 BUT--------

#1.  "share your sorrow with a friend-"(-a wee word of wisdom however before I go--)--and---a blast from the past--
Son#2 with Son#4 who had just broken his arm--at school--His  Father was VERY upset--so----remember -----Life is always  better even when it is not good sometimes--

  2. You have a busy morning! Hope you have a good time @ breakfast. That is always nice to do. And good luck w/the suture removal, the pharmacy and . . . getting Lopez to do his biz!

I am so happy that the bereavement course is helping. Yes, time consuming, but seems like it’s worthwhile.

Great job getting to son #1’s house and back. That is so nice you can get out for that.

Only have one appt. today . . . Jason’s PT. I am glad.

Oh my, that photo of your son brought back memories of when slings used to be so simple!

Yes life may not be perfect, but it’s better than it could be!

Hugs and blessings, and stay warm

  3. It's Kathy. So true - Even when it's not good, it's better than it could be! That's the way I feel today. Not real sure why. Just overwhelmed with a lot of pain this morning. My big project today is to get at least 4 more windows washed. We have 3, maybe 4 more reasonably nice days and then winter is coming. It will be quite cold on Thanksgiving this year - I'm glad we're not going anywhere. Enjoy your breakfast with your friend - that sounds quite lovely! I cleaned out one of my cupboards yesterday and found FOUR boxes of pancake mix. Guess I'd better start making pancakes!!! Have a good day.

  4. Hi Lynda
    Indeed, things can always,be worse.
Breakfast out is always an enjoyable treat.
Im glad the grief group is helpful.
Im also very glad you get home before dark from son #1s house. Please don't be out in the dark with the deer and critters.
Lots going on for you today. It will get handled.
    Hugs

  5. Good afternoon, sis.
I just got back from the veterans' hospital from my upper gi endoscopy. They diatated my esophagus...found some curious stuff lower down, took biopsies, will put me on drugs. I find out in about a week what the biopsies show.
You have another busy day. Breakfast with a friend is great. And all that medical stuff never seems to end, does it?
Love the memes and the blast from the past. Poor little boy with his arm!
Make it a great day, Lynda, and so will I. Gonna crawl back in bed now and hopefully get over this lightheaded, woozy feeling from the drugs I had. I'll check back later. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
