"Don't Be Weird!"

Good Morning--Tuesday, November 18th--Lordy Be--such a busy morning--  with 2 hospital appointments at 2pm---  Lopez and Sushi are up here, staring at me--  like--  "What do we do next?"---I see it in their faces--
Mornings are busy here--the wash and dryer--the bed --the animals to feed--the vacuum with the litter--and now 2 Drs appointments--plus it feels quite cold outside!--

Below--  It says below  that I am a spirit having a physical appearance--  Hmmm--Some people believe that when one dies they do become a "spirit"--  What do you think about that??--

Last evening I took the garbage up to where we used to live--so much kitty litter--What do all of you with cats, do with the soiled litter?--=I find it fills up my kitchen garbage here.--And of course . last night, I stopped in to see Son#1--in fact had supper there--drove back before dark--It is hard to eat alone--Do any of you find that?--so much nicer to eat with other people--

Words of Wisdom--or--"Words I wish I'd wrote!"

             and-- blasts from the past--below--

Son#2's wee daughter  (now finished  University)--myself and Willow--=and below -=-Son#2 the pilot, with his friend, another Air Canada Pilot--
and, below--a very old picture of "me"-- -I think in high school--

So, how is your day going?--Are yu feeling strong??--ready to face a new day??-

I hope your day is good---
I hope there is only tears of joy!

  1. Good Morning Lynda,
It sounds like you have a busy day today.
It's cold and rainy here today and expected to last all day. Yuck!
I have a massage later today and I am looking forward to that but not looking forward to going out in the rainy weather.
Hope all goes well at your hospital appointments today.
    As always, enjoyed the pictures.
Hang in there and keep moving forward.

  2. Good morning, sis.
Honey, our soul is our spirit and our guidance. That's our intuition and why we should follow it. Our 'whole self' consists of the part we know here...our personality and body...AND our soul or spirit.
I've told you how I eat...by myself (kinda), in my recliner watching my favorite tv show with Lucky curled up beside me. It IS nice, though, to eat with other people, too.
You didn't say why you have appointments, but I hope the drive there and back and the appointments themselves go well.
Day after tomorrow I go to the Veterans Hospital for labs and the procedure to dialate my esophagus.
I think I have my Christmas shopping 99% done! Never have done that this early. I'm proud of myself.
Still a few last minute things to do to get prepared for the inspections. They are TOMORROW!
Love your photos...as usual. And that meme!
Be back later, Lynda. Make yourself a good day...think happy and positively! {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  3. It's Kathy. I hope all goes well at the doctor's this afternoon. I have another physical therapy appointment at 5 pm. Thankfully Tom will drive me and then we're getting dinner! Another night of no cooking. Yes, I find it challenging to eat alone - much nicer to have company. On Tuesdays Tom goes to the Art Center and isn't home at lunch time - I really never know what to eat on Tuesdays! Love the "blasts from the past" - lovely photos and great memories. I'm home today until PT - Daisy will be happy. She looks at me like that in the evenings "what should we do now, Mom"". By evening I'm just too tired to do anything! Have a great day!

  4. Routine keeps us moving, doesn't it? If I don't do things in "the right order" the animals get weird, right? They know that when I come downstairs, the cat gets fed first. They know that after I pick up the business in the backyard it's time for leash and harness, and that some days we get in the car and go to day care, and some days we go out the front door to walk.

    They know which days!

  5. Sounds like you have lots planned for today.
I do not find it difficult to eat alone. I guess maybe I have gotten used to it. The good thing is you can eat whatever you want and whenever you want! It is nice to eat with others too. I do find that I make more soups, and leftovers so I can get more than one meal out of my cooking.
    Have a good day! Susan/Colorado

  6. Hi Lynda! It’s cloudy and 41 in Ohio. I made banana bread this morning and then I started wrapping gifts. I try to be mostly done before Thanksgiving before the world gets weird. LOL! Glad you got your trash taken care of and dinner with your son. Hope your appointments go well. My back is finally feeling better on this 4th day. Thank you! Enjoy your evening. Hugs!

  7. Hi Lynda
    Safe travels for your appointments.
Eating alone is no biggie for me. I can eat what and where I want. Usually in front of TV. I prepare meals for my himself but im not ready to eat when he is. It's not an issue for me. Please be sure you're back home before dark after the meals at #1s house. Too many deer and critters up there on back roads.
    Have a good day.

  8. Hi, Lynda, I'm just now home from work and sat down to the computer.

Spirits? I think, if there's a heaven, that the spirits go up there. I'm told they are completely happy up there, and so I am sure they do not linger around on this earth or worry or have any concerns about those still on earth, b/c that wouldn't be very happy, now would it? But, I dunno. Sometimes I believe there's just like, a force, from those up in heaven, protecting us from things like accidents, and such, you know, when you have those near misses or whatever.

Litter? When I had cats, I just tossed it in a plastic garbage bag and then put that in the big wheeled plastic garbage can for the men to come pick up with their big garbage truck. Don't you have that?
Ours comes every Monday morning. We wheel our carts out to the fronts of the condos, and then they come and empty them.

Eating alone? It's all in what you are used to. I'm used to eating alone, and so I have to laugh when you mention it. The last time I ever ate with someone every evening was when I was a child, with my mother. But yeah, if you are used to eating with someone, EVERY day, I suppose you would miss that. I mean, sure I eat with people on holidays. That would be Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas dinners. BIG, huge dinners. We will be having ours next Thursday, can't wait! But they're calling for icy rain and maybe snow. My cousin's wife lives on the west side of the town, way UP the hill as far as you can go here in Newark, to the rich people's section, LOL. I don't look forward to driving back DOWN. That side of the family were real estate developers here in Newark, so that side of the family has the money, HA. They can afford to live WAY up the hill in the big fancy houses that are up there. Me, not so much, haha.

  9. Good luck w/your appointments.

Not sure if I believe in the spirit but I suppose that is possible.

LOVE the blasts from the past.

Busy day. . . groceries, bills, PT for Jason, PT/OT exercises for me. All good.

    Here’s to a wonderful Tuesday.

  10. Marti again. I forgot, of course I eat with people sometimes if they come to visit, and this last Sunday my neighbor Mary wanted to eat out for Chinese, so I went with her. We don't go often, out to eat, and if we do, it's usually our simple home cooking casual restaurant called "Bob Evans."
