Good morning from rainy Ohio! Your place is so cute, Lynda! It’s all you need. You worked so hard before keeping a big place going. You will have more fun time and less worry. I am about to do my bed and clean after coffee. It is my husband’s birthday but he had to work. He used to work every other weekend but employees were not doing their work so now he has to be there to supervise. Bummer! Anyways, it is our favorite day so we will enjoy it! I will wait for food pics. LOL! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteRaining pretty hard here also-=-Sorry that husband is working--but it is a good day to be inside--Yes it is all I need-had to downsize a lot of furniture however as large stuff just would not fit--'cept the bed--I can't-seem to get rid of the King bed (which Sushi loves)--as it was Fred's bed too--Hugs--Lynda
DeleteI totally understand you keeping the bed.
DeleteGood Morning, Lynda - Your new home is lovely. Very inviting. Love how you placed flower pots along the driveway.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good book to keep you company this rainy day. Just wanted to drop you a quick message to say hello.
So good yu did drop in to chat here---Could not garden this year -=-so just placed the plants along the drive--next yr--the gardening--LOL-- Thank yu for taking time to write-- Love yu, Lynda
DeleteGood Morning!
ReplyDeleteWe have rain here as well. And it was pretty windy overnight as I see we have some branches down but they will have to wait to be picked up until the rain stops.
Your little house is so cute. Love all the pics. Thanks for sharing them with us.
Hubby and I attended a wedding reception for his nephew last night. It was a nice venue and we got to see a lot of family. I wore high heel sandals with my dress and since I hadn't worn heels in a while, my feet are really feeling it this morning. I guess that the price we pay for dressing up. lol
Wishing you a cozy, cuddle up day with Sushi and Lopez.

Good Sunday morning to you Lynda. Thank you for sharing the photos of your kitchen and guest room and "blasts from the past". The guest room looks very inviting. I hope the rain stops long enough for you and Lopez to "hoof it up the road" so he can do his business. You have rain and we're due to get a temp of 84 today. Enjoy your day and looking forward to seeing what food Matt chooses today.

Good morning, sis.
ReplyDeleteI read the first part of your blog, clicked to comment and, when the screen came up for me to enter it, THERE WAS MORE! Magic!
More blasts from the past. Love the tiny kitchen, the family photos and SUSHI...my fave as I am now a Crazy Cat Lady.
Yes, the rain is easier to deal with than snow! The sky is a beautiful clear blue here today. It's only 44F, though. Almost time for the parkas to come out.
Lots to do...laundry (though I did get a large load done yesterday), assembling new cat stairs that came, must gas up the car, etc.
You and your dear Lopez stay as dry as you can. Enjoy your day. I will check back later. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
Hi Lynda
ReplyDeleteThanks for photos. Your tiny house is cozy. Are you expecting guests? I suppose so since you set up a guest room. Yes, space is at a premium but your making it what you feel is good. I, personally, like space to roam lol.
We'll wait to see what Matt eats this trip. He does like food.
Enjoy your rainy, cozy Sunday.
Hugs

Marti here. I see you DO have a tiny kitchen. I didn't realize your washer and dryer were right in the kitchen. I wish I could show you pics on here. I tried to add you as a Facebook friend but I guess your Facebook is locked down so I can't add you. Anyway, I guess my place is huge compared to yours, but I DO love your guest room and living room. I LOVE that kind of style of furniture in your guest room. I'm guessing you didn't have room in there for your computer area and your treadmill that you used to have. It seems I may not be able to use my treadmill much, as it causes me aches and pains when I use it. Bummer! I do have the shorter leg and the walking boot on my foot which can make it also rather uncomfy.
ReplyDeleteRaining hard here too. I put Jake's raincoat on him to take him out for his morning potty, and I told him to hurry up and poop and he pooped right away and we scurried back in. So, it was a just around the corner walk. I've decided to NOT get groceries today. My fridge is on the fritz anyway and a repair person is coming tomorrow morning. It is freezing my lunch meat and apples, so why get those until tomorrow sometime?
Er, I guess you call it a "walking pad," rather than a treadmill.

It's Kathy. I guess I'm up but certainly not "at er"! But I'm trying. Had a difficult conversation with my youngest daughter this morning - and last night at 10 pm (too late for me to be clear headed). She is fighting for custody of her 2 boys with the worst human person I've ever met. He doesn't have the capacity to love anyone - he just wants to be in control of everyone! He's treated her like dirt for so many years and he's not much better to his boys. They cry when they have to go to his home. I tell her she has to stand up for her boys (they are 5 & 7 and both diagnosed with Autism) but she's too afraid of him (domestic assault). I am in so much pain with my disk herniation that I can't sleep - therefore very crabby! Now I feel terrible and will call her shortly. Thank you for always being here for all of us! I hope it stops raining soon. Love all the photos. Grandchildren grow up so much faster than children!
ReplyDeleteI love the tiny kitchen it must be so easy to keep clean I love the way you make it fir
ReplyDeleteI love the photos they are so fun

Rainy and dark here, too. Good day for tea and a good book!
ReplyDeleteLittle Miss Sushi looks regal on the bed. “This is mine, and I’ll share it if I want to!”

Yep! I kept my King bed too! I alternate which side I sleep on so that the mattress will wear more evenly. I also keep one of my previous husband's sweatshirts folded on the bed with me....silly I know - but it is a piece of him that I can keep near me at night....and it was one of his favorite sweatshirts! I had lots of his t-shirts made into a big quilt, which is a lovely remembrance of him, but the gold "Nautica" sweatshirt is so special to me that I could not donate it or even give it to any of my 3 sons! Funny that you found your BD book in the spare bedroom....I still have stuff piled in my basement and office area that I have not gone through - I am so tired of going through boxes! Keep the faith, Lynda! We are strong and we can meet these challenges....even if it means spending more cash than we feel we should! We only have one life to live and we are all on the same journey....and we can't take the cash with us when our God calls us home! Hugs to you friend!'
