HAPPY HALLOWEEN TO Y"ALL!

BOO

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Good morning--  Happy Halloween--  Are you ready??--  -the children--the candy--Lord love a Duck!
It is still dark here-Lopez and I have NOT been out yet-but--the wash is done--AND DRY_-oh--I see the day light has crept in--and we have heat--

Before I wish you all a "happy Halloween"---we heard last night that our family in JAMAICA are OK__Their daughter in the US, texted  Son#2 the Pilot--  said  her Mom and Dad and family there in Jamaica do not have phone or cell service, but they are all OK--That is a very good thing! ---They own and operate the FDR resort right on the ocean--  Here is a picture of "ICEY'---  their Mom--We are happy to hear that they are alright--

So, I decorated the outside of this tiny house for Halloween---

As you can see, there are so so many trees around here--

sunset over the tennis courts--
my dollar store decorations-
Lopez and I have not Been out yet--so--We must get out there--cold--I know it is~

Even if you do not enjoy all this "Halloween stuff", I hope that you  try to participate even a little bit--I used to find it so difficult to  figure out costumes for all my kids on Halloween--  They enjoyed it however--and it was kinda fun to see all the costumes-
-A few years, even Himself and I had to dress up?--I think he was "Mr T"--
so so much fun!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN to you all--

  2. Good morning! It is rainy in Ohio. Hard to believe Halloween is tomorrow and then Thanksgiving and Christmas will be right around the corner. Love your decor! So happy to hear the family is safe from the storms. Scary! Hope you have a wonderful day! Hugs!

  3. It's Kathy. I'm so glad your family in Jamaica are safe. That's very good news. Love your Halloween decorations. I don't do anything for Halloween. We live on a very busy road and haven't had any kids come along in many years. We used to just turn off the lights and watch television downstairs but now it really doesn't matter. No one comes. And these days I don't have the energy to put out any of my decorations. Maybe this year for Christmas! Have a good day.

  5. So glad your family in Jamaica have survived. Can't imagine the horrors left for them to deal with. Hoping your Halloween decor brightens your day and those pesky little treaters. Bought candy yesterday and for the first time in years will be home to share!

  6. It's Marti. Great Halloween decorations! I LOVE Halloween, get to be a kid again and watch horror movies and decorate. I especially love going to those pop up stores with the animatronics and watch all the kiddos (and me) run around and try to scare themselves, LOL. I make sure to go every year! Then comes November, I hate the month of November. Dark and dreary, all the leaves are mostly gone, and have to turn the clocks back. Sure, Thanksgiving is nice, but I prefer to be home, really, I overheat easily and at home I always have to be smack dab in front of a fan, winter or summer. If I'm at someone else's house, I'm usually sweating and miserable.

  10. Your house looks so welcoming and festive, Lynda. I love how excited kids get for Halloween. It’s magical to them. You are a good soul to help spread the joy. 🎃

  11. Your decorations look good. I did not even attempt to decorate inside or out this year for Halloween....just have too many loose ends to deal with in trying to make my house feel like home. Glad that your family in Jamaica is safe! Not many kids come to trick or treat in my neighborhood as all the houses in my area are on 2 or more acres so we are not close enough for kids to walk from house to house....parents have to drive them! We used to have some little kids in the neighborhood, but most of them are now in high school or in college universities.....so I guess I will have to eat this large bag of candy myself.....good thing I bought the kind of chocolate candy bars that I like! hahaha!

  12. Good evening, sis. Sorry I am so late here.
I knew all would be ok with your relatives! I felt it in my bones.
Cuba and other islands were affected, too.
The Halloween decorations are great? Will you have trick-or-reaters?
Several of us will be sitting in our vestibule starting about 3PM to pass out candy.
Sorry this is short, Lynda, but it's late now, and almost bedtime. Hope you had a great day and that it will continue throughout the night. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
