Beautiful girl, you can do hard things-

To-day is Wednesday, October 8th---Woo Woo!

                                                              Good Morning to you all--

It is 10 degrees here outside--no rain--YET____but--maybe later--
YES! Just imagine that this might be the happiest day in your life----
Whatta great way to face the day--
As I type, Son#2, is winging his way to Brazil-almost there--
Lopez and I are up---

The new sofa arrived yesterday--and now I can lay on it--even my legs and feet  fit
on it--and it is very comfy--

Lopez and I must "hit the road"--We shall return however--  and I will add to the blog--
Lopez and I have returned to the
"tiny house"--
I see that Son#2 is still en route-- to SaoPaulo --seems like a long way--

--and Lopez and I have walked--in the cold-- I even dug out a parka to wear to-morrow morning--and Lopez wore his heavy Jean Jacket--

So, How is your day going so far?-I know that "you" can do just about everything--Isn't it wonderful that we always have "to-morrow"?

Oh, I just received a text from Son#2 the Air Canada Pilot--  He said, "Just landed"--He must be so so happy to be there--He flew all night--
It isn't easy , getting up every morning, dressing for the cold, walking the dog--and facing what every day will bring--but, I know that we are strong--and we do it--

I shall see yu' all to-morrow-"-Keep your chin up"-(Dad would be proud of you--)Trust in yourself
You're Special!

  3. Happy Wednesday!
Sounds like it's getting cold up there. I bet Lopez looks adorable in his Jean jacket.
Your new couch looks nice and on cold days you can curl up on it with a blanket and Lopez and binge watch your favorite shows. : -) That is a long way for Son# 2 to fly. That's wonderful he lets you know he got to his destination.
    Have a wonderful day, Lynda

  4. Good morning, sis.
I checked for comments on yesterday's blog. None, but here is a new one!
It must be hard flying all night in the dark. Glad your son has landed!
That new sofa looks comfy. Aren't your feet cold? There's no blanket on your toes!
Here they have been advertising washable sofas...inside and out. They're on the anabei website.
It's cold here, too. I looked at my weather app last night before bed. It said we were under a 'frost warning' for the first thing today. Sure 'nuff...it was freezing when I woke up. I will be getting out my parka, too.
Got lotsa work done yesterday. Today it's just sweeping up...around the litter box, etc. Maybe a load or two of clothes, too...if the laundry room isn't busy. We have 3 new residents who will also need it, too.
Outa here now, Lynda. Phone calls to make for VA appointments for my eyes. Gotta get to them early. Called yesterday about 3:30 and they were already done taking calls for the day! {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  5. Going through that temperature transition here, too. Gloves if the puppy will let me wear them (and she's getting better about that), but gloves don't work well in the treat bag, so we have pockets!

Love the new sofa & Lopez looks so cozy in his big chair there.

    Happy Wednesday!

  6. Good morning Lynda, a very nice looking couch which you said was comfy and long enough to allow you to stretch out for a nap. I see Lopez likes it. It will be interesting to see if he jumps up to sleep at your feet when you've stretched out for a nap. We've enjoyed cooler weather here in So. California, but on Friday it's back to the mid-80s. It appears you've decided to bake the pies for Thanksgiving. If you're concerned about enough counter space for the cooling racks, you can always use the top of your dishwasher. Happy Canadian Thanksgiving on the 13th.

  7. It's Kathy. I did a "hard thing" today - and did a shopping trip at Costco. On my best days that isn't very fun, and today my back was hurting so much by the time we got home. My husband loves to look at stuff - I just want to get done! I turned the heat on for the first time today - it's pretty cool outside here too. But we do have sunshine! I hope you have a great day today!

  8. I like the couch! Things seem to happen so fast in Canada. Gosh. If I ordered a piece of furniture it would take at least 2 weeks for delivery.
