Beast Mode On!

We have a planned power outage here , beginning at 9am---the whole town--  Hopefully it will end at 12 noon--SO-----a short blog--

Last nite I watched  Ukraine--- and the strength and determination of their people , to remain an independent country. Hopefully, their determination will help them hold onto their lives there--- "What you tell yourself every day will either lift you up or---tear yu down!"---- ----I certainly do admire them! Son #2 the Pilot , is still over in Britain--He sent a picture of "London Bridge", which incidentally has never fallen down--  Remember how we used to sing that song about London Bridge--?

-And--their famous  double decker buses--

I must get ready for the whole house to shut down--  Hopefully we can get the generator working--

-I must tell myself that I can enjoy this day --

  1. Sure hope the power comes back on when they say it will! Yes, I remember that old children’s thing about London’s bridges falling down, such old fashioned stuff! Wonder if anyone does that any more? The teachers explained what some of them meant to us, but we were too young to understand nursery rhymes, really. Does anyone have Mother Goose books any more?

I surely pray that the Ukranian people prevail and keep their chosen form of government. My prayers for all those bravely fighting.

  4. Hope the generator got started and kept you going!

London Bridge falling down must be kind of like Chicken Little's "the sky is falling"? Hope your Sunday is a peaceful one.

  6. A power outage seems a perfect opportunity for some piano playing which seems to calm all the two-legged and four-legged inhabitants of your home.

  8. Hopefully the power won't be out too long for you. Stay warm.

The Ukrainian are amazing and so strong. It's heartbreaking and inspiring at the same time. Praying that things get better for them.

  9. The pilot takes good pictures. Ukraine is really scary all because one selfish person could care less about the people is his quest to expand his own country for his own purposes of control. Hope the power came on as it was scheduled to and that you get himself's test results tomorrow. Have a good day.

  10. I am amazed at the strength of the Ukrainians. What a shame that a big bully thinks he has the right to take over their country. Loved the photos of England!

  11. Beautiful pics. I hope that by now you have your electricity back again. Very sad about Ukraine's situation. Grateful to live in relatively peaceful-free countries.

  13. I was looking at my London pics this morning. Being from Chicago, with daily reports of violence we too need prayers.
    God Bless all!

  15. Ummm, that is the Tower Bridge, not the London Bridge. People often get the two mixed up. In fact someone in Texas bought the London Bridge thinking it was the Tower Bridge and was pretty upset to find it was the other bridge. Yes, donations and prayers for Ukraine.

  16. Heartbreaking in the Ukraine as I read they are now shelling
places where they know civilians are.
I also read many of the young Russian soldiers are laying down
    their weapons........wish they all would.
