Bless your day and you!

We took Beau , the big German, as in dog, to his new groomer--- at minus 31C temperature outside--It turned out to be the best trip ever for him and us--  Himself sat in the back seat with him--and we had Beau anchored with that large hook, that anchors baby seats in-- We left Lopez in his crate at home-------  I was a tad afraid of the cold temperatures, but the car  survived that cold, and we made it there and back--Beau is still there and we will pick him up shortly.--- So, all these trips in the early morning , in "the dead of winter", are nearly over with---  and I worried so much about them , for nothing-- I am always afraid that I won't be able to do all of it---myself, ----but, as a bank manager once said to me, when I told her how I worry about everything, she said, "Well you have always done it--and done the banking well, so you will always be able to do it, so why worry?"-----

Lord love a Duck! --Once a worrier--always a worrier, I guess!----  So, ever onward here---  Women must "STAY STRONG"---WE seem to be the caregivers---  the ones who keep the world going--whether we like it or not----  I

I enjoyed all yer comments yesterday---'specially about Lopez---  I am trying to hang in here with him-- but----Chihuahuas are a challenge--I have to agree!

Bless your day and you!

  3. I think you can stop worrying because you are one of the strongest women that I know. You have had to deal with so much and you always figure out what to do. Start to give yourself more credit because you've got this! Stay warm and safe.

  4. Lynda, I'm a worrier too 🥴 Most of the things we worry about never happen. I so agree with Madeline45...you are so strong! I just wish you had more help! Glad y'all had a good trip to the groomer 🤗

  6. Good luck, Lynda, you seem to take most of these challenges in stride! Better than I could do. Thankful you could get Beau to the groomer. Take care. We are lucky today, the ice is melting so the mail could be delivered. Yay! Small blessings.

  7. I am a worrier as well. And now there is no one left to worry about I still find things to worry about in the middle of the night! Things seem to be settling down a bit for now and hopefully it stays that way. it's also going to get a bit warmer in southern Ontario and may you get that too. That should also help with Lopez.

  8. Accepting that it's OK to be a worrier actually made me worry a bit less... so... you're doing fine! Glad this was a better day. Isn't that the way it goes? Good day, not so good day, horrid day, better day... on and on! Life is good.

  10. Glad you made it safely to the groomers. I am not a fan of this terribly cold weather, can't get warm even in the house! I love what your banker said - you have always done it and you will continue to do it!!!

  11. Beau is looking very handsome. Glad Fred got out of the house. Beau probably liked having Fred in the backseat with him.
After 3 days trapped in the house we got out Today! St.Louis county where I am, got 12 inches of snow/ice. That stops everything. Its been crazy cold 🥶 Lynda, I don't know how you do this weather.
Glad things are better for you.
    Be safe, warm and well.

  14. Some of us just worry. Must be in the DNA.
I find Chihuahuas fairly easy to train and love. I have had 8 and love their spirit and mental ability. I hope Lopez soon learns his manners!
