Here we are--I am holding the Birthday girl---who is 8 yers old--It was so wonderful to be together! ----Here she is with her "Happy Birthday cupcakes"--made by her Mom---She was so excited! -----
Here is the wee fella--who , as yu can see, has grown quite a bit. --I must tell yu that before she left for the Birthday Party , last evening , I tucked him (Lopez) in , to this crate, shut the gate to the crate, and we drove to town. When we got back home, guess who met us at the top of the stairs---Beau--WITH LOPEZ-------Somehow he got out of his crate----I must not have latched the door of the crate tightly!
What a lovely picture of your family. That is hysterical that you were met by Beau AND little Lopez @ the top of the stairs! What Houdinis! You just never know!
ReplyDeleteI bet Himself enjoyed getting out of the house. YOU TOO.

Hi Barb--- Yes, it sure is "the never ending " snow!---- Spring will be most welcome here! Lynda
DeleteWe have had a lot of snow but also with every storm we seem o get some rain, freezing rain and sleet. . . making the whole thing a mess and slippery. This year I am sick of it. I usually don't mind the cold and snow but this year . . .grrrr! and we have another one supposed to start up this afternoon and tonight. I have to get it all cleaned up in the morning so I can get out to a dr ap't in the afternoon. Hope it finishes in time and the roads aren't bad
ReplyDeleteSaw robins in the yard a few minutes ago. There’s hope.
ReplyDeleteReplied twice and it has disappeared twice. Agree too much snow this year. Looks like all enjoyed. Wonder who let Lopez out - Beau or Lopez!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful birthday party! Woohoo! So funny how Lopez got out and was with Beau. Happy Monday.
ReplyDeleteSo glad it was such a nice birthday party, and you both got to get out of the house! The ice down here in Texas is finally melting, so dangerous! Take care, taking care of your outside area.
ReplyDeleteHow fun to celebrate your granddaughter's birthday. I have a grandson turning 2 in a couple of weeks and we will be enjoying his party. Another grandson is turning 2 today but too far for us to travel, especially with me still recovering. Maybe next year!
ReplyDeleteSo happy for you that you all could be together to celebrate little Charlee π She looks happy! Funny about Lopez getting out! Beau may have worked the latch π Soo much snow, be careful outside.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed the pics and your narrative.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great picture of the family! We really appreciate getting together after all this time in the pandemic! When I get tired of our ice and snow here in Pittsburgh I will think of all that you have up north!π Cafhy
ReplyDeleteLovely family. Charlee looks delighted to be the birthday girl. Glad you two went.
ReplyDeleteSo Lopez got himself out of the crate...stinker.
Be careful out there.
SPRING is coming!
Take care and be safe.
The party must have been such fun! Cupcakes are many kids' favorites.
ReplyDeleteWonder if Beau uoened the crate for Lopez? 8-) {{{HUGS}}}
Love the cupcakes... So Beau let Lopez out of the crate! That's dogs fir ya!
ReplyDeleteBeau looks to be in command, and protecting y'all! Good Boy!
ReplyDeleteLopez, you are never gonna grow into THOSE paws! Glad the birthday girl had a good party!
Dear Lynda. Just want you to know I enjoyed your blogs the last few days. It looks like you had a good time at the Birthday Party. Lopez has grown quite a bit since you got him. It is good that even though he got out of his crate, he didn't mess in the house. I hope he doesn't turn into an escape artist dog, that could be bad. I hope you have a great rest of your evening.

Glad that you were all able to celebrate the youngest GD’s birthday together....I’m sure she was thrilled to have such a party!! That Lopez is a character....he probably convinced Beau to free him from his kennel!! ❤️ Eissa7
ReplyDeleteOh, how nice to celebrate a birthday all together!! Too funny about Lopez escaping. We had a dog who did that, so had to be careful to get the latch just right, as she was a chewer.
