Canadians pay over 6 Dollars per gallon at the pump-and it's Fall-

This is the first day of FALL----This is Gloria's favourite season-----I like "fall"--but--- (That big "butt")---what follows  Gloria's favourite season is--WINTER!

Gloria by the way is  the nicest, most beautiful person from Spark-- now on my Facebook page, with such beautiful pictures.

OK., I must tell you , that our gasoline prices are $1.42 a Litre-----  AND--there are 4 Litres in a Gallon, so, if you multiply 4 X $1.42 , then add, .72 cents, WE PAY, $6.48 A GALLON, in Canada.

Now, doesn't that shock you all?

No wonder I find I never have enough money--

HAPPY FALL to you all--  The Hummingbirds have left-----no more sugar water--- and this is my hair day--YEAH!!!!!

-Lord love a Duck!!!----  like --not too many eh?---  I can barely see even one!

  4. I use an web page that shows me the prices of petrol (is it called Gas or Petrol in Canada?) near me. The other day I saw my preferred place was 1.33 per litre but other places that day were going up as high as $1.75! Since I was planning a rare day out, I made sure to get petrol as the first thing I did. I got it at the lower price. Later that day it was $1.75 there. Boy was I glad I got in when I did! And that my car only needs a fill up once every few months (I don't drive a lot).

I'm Gaelyne Gasson on Facebook - feel free to add me there!

I start a new diabetes med next week - a pen injection that will help my glucose levels AND it suppresses appetite. I'm hoping that will be a winning combination for me.

So glad to hear you'll be welcoming a new tiny puppy into your life next month! How exciting! I was so very sorry to hear about Tess. ❤️

  5. Wow that is pricey gas . . . our is about $3 in NH but I don't have to fill up that often and my RAV4 gets almost 43 mpg. Gonna enjoy today because we have a lot of rain headed our way

  6. Unbelievably high prices for gas, just like everything else. We only use our car once a week for grocery pickup. I sympathize with those who need to use their vehicle to get to work.

  7. Yikes. And I thought it was bad down here. I'm actually contemplating electric lawn equipment, having just got rid of my hazardous waste.

  8. Yes our gas prices are outrageous and I hate it when I have to fill up. Luckily we aren’t doing too much travelling these days. I like the beginning of fall when the leaves are changing but when the trees are bare I find it depressing. Such a long wait until we see the leaves again. We usually go to Florida for February but I think we will be staying home again this year. With no idea when the border will open to drive and the case counts still high there we don’t want to take a chance. Have a great day Lynda! 👍

  9. I'm glad you clarified that about the prices of gas in Canada. I was thinking they were 1.49 a gallon that someone mention in a comment on one of your other posts.

  10. Yes gas is outrageous and part of that is Trudeau's carbon tax. I'm sure he will make it higher in the future! The leaves changing colour is very pretty and I like it - except once that's done winter and snow is closer which I hate. Will be waiting for next summer instead. Enjoy getting your hair done.

  11. Your gas prices are outrageous, and have been that way for many years, one reason some Canadians do move over here. We usually always bought low mileage cars here, and our prices are not as bad. Nothing is free for anyone, in 2021.

Covid spread is still the pits in Texas, Northern California, average folks just spreading it all around, and maskless, don’t care attitude.

  12. I do enjoy spring and summer best and then fall and winter. Enjoy your day.

  13. Yes, I thought the $1.42 litre must have been an error. Our gas prices in the USA have always been "bought off" by political favors. We have never paid our 'fair share'.

  14. We pay $2.77/gallon these days in Central Texas.

  15. Lynda, thanks for explaining your litre price vs our gallon price. I thought you were really getting a bargain up there. Your prices are really high.
Happy first day of Fall. I love the fall colors but sure don't like what follows...winter.
Hummingbirds left....we'll soon have to start looking forward to Spring lol.
    Enjoy your hair day.
How cute the picture of the guys who have crushes on you lol. Fred does! Have a great day.

  16. $6.48 a gallon, but is your dollar worth the same amount as ours is? Gas here in MN is $3.01-$3.05. I am lucky I don't drive much ;-) At least getting your hair done will bring a smile to your face. {{{HUGS}}}

  17. Oh my, I'm in Canada but didn't know the price of gas! That's because I don't drive & now I don't think I could afford to anyway. Terrible price, Lynda. And thank you for such wonderful compliments, I alwways think of you as a super nice person and friend too. I can't wait to see your new pup, photos as soon as you get him, please! Hugs!

  19. Okay that makes more sense with the gas prices. I mean that is horrible and I am sorry you have to pay that much.

I know one guy that has a crush on you - himself!!!!

Fall is my favorite season also. I love the crisp cool days, all the sounds, colors, and smells of fall.

    Have a great day

  20. Yes, our gas prices are quite high right now. Over $4.00 per gallon. I'm glad to be driving a car that gets good gas mileage, and am retired so don't have to do a long daily drive to/from work!

    Happy Thursday!

  24. Here in Maine gas is about $3.25/gal. I usually get two weeks from a tank as we're both retired. Back and forth to groceries, Church and medical appointments is the current extent of our travels.
    Beau sure is handsome.
    Enjoy your Hair appointment.

  28. Yes it does shock me!!! At the pumps in town the price is 3:09 but at the Costco in Madison Wi the price is about 15 cents less. Costco is a club though. I went to the grocery store just for lettuce and I thought it was high. 3.99 for a small bag of spring mix and 2.99 for Romain. The meat prices are high also. I suppose due to Covid. Have a great day.
