Please Be Safe and Aircraft overhead!

It is "FALL"---- The picture is of the end of the driveway--out by the road--but---it is raining--still!---Son#2 the Air Canada Pilot called this AM to tell us that his wife just flew over our house-- She is a flight attendant--- She is en route to Alberta where the Covid cases are high-- He told her to double mask and wear a shield plus her PPE outfit over her uniform.  That must be hot eh?--It seems that aircraft are flying more now--

Yesterday, Himself and I were sitting out in the front yard, on a bench, which faces the back road. I saw the exhaust from an aircraft way up high--something we haven't seen too much of during this Pandemic. It was nice to see it.

Son #2 , always aware of the weather, sent this early this AM-- a weather system over us--thus--all the rain! And, just to let you all know, I did get the applesauce made yesterday,--but --not the cookies--

I always put some in jars in the frig., as we can't eat it all at once--

So, that is about it for to-day---  The Piano tuner will be here after lunch-- The piano always sounds like Heaven after he has been here--

Stay safe----  Dance--- Think thin--- move---  Pray-----Lord love a Duck! I need you all here tomorrow-

  1. Good morning! What a lovely scene, from where you live! Like a calendar picture!
Your son is right, that Alberta area has the Covid plague in the worst way! Your daughter in law needs to be careful. The population there, must be as careless as the ones in Texas! I still have to order grocery delivery here, can not trust the public to be smart here.

  2. When I make applesauce I pressure can it afterward so I can but it on the shelf and not take up frig room... I made it last year and still have some left. Beautiful decorations.

  4. Love the decor. Still green here for at least another 2 to 3 weeks. I do up applesauce too but I put it in tubs in the freezer. Next week my DD and her friends are going picking so she will get some for me too.

  9. I love your picture of the end of your driveway! Enjoy your applesauce - it looks good. It just started raining here again so I’m glad I got our mums while it was still sunny out this morning. Have a great day. πŸ‘πŸ’¦

  10. Love the picture from the end of your driveway. So nice to be able to sit out in the yard. We didn't do any of that this year as the city had our road tore up all summer long and every time a vehicle went by the dust would fly everywhere. I changed my furnace filter when they finally finished...the green filter was brown, yuck.
Your applesauce looks yummy. You inspire me to make some.
Have a great rest of your day. Beth Mosko

  21. Nice photos and good for you getting the apple sauce done. That is a big job. Blue skies here is Southern Ontario, so perhaps the rains are moving on. Have a lovely Sunday!

  22. Your applesauce looks delicious. My daughter and son and their 3 dogs are driving from Winnipeg to Ns for a new posting and I told her she wasn’t too far from you! ( they all know about you in my family) Last night they stayed in Sault St Marie at a hotel. They tow a trailer for their stuff as the 3 dogs take up the vehicle space! Well, they got robbed in the middle of the night! Laptops, iPad, uniforms and extra clothing. The theives are not dog lovers [ no surprise there!] as they ditched the doggy gear in a public area not far from the hotel. Anyway. They are continuing their journey here and will stay close to my Ontario daughter tonight.

  23. Nice looking applesauce. It’s just as well that you didn’t do the cookies. If you’re like me you’d eat several right out of the oven.

  24. And we need you! That's the main reason I was upset about SP closing...eliminating friends like you!

We played bingo today in our community room. One lady brought 4 homemade apple pies. Pretty good, but my mom's were better. I've tried to duplicate it and failed!

    Think positive, honey...think health and happiness! {{{HUGS}}}
