Celebrate however feels right for you---

Good day to you all---just got up here --- It is a day AFTER Christmas Day---Did you  enjoy Christmas Day?--It was a wonderful day here yesterday--

The Piano Tuner came--ON CHRISTMAS DAY! He was on is way back from Toronto--and Lakefield was en route--So--There "she " be--all tuned--BELOW---and the 2 keys which were not working had a cookie dropped onto the notes--The Humidity system needs some work (inside the piano)-but, in May, when he returns, he will work on that--It was the best gift ever , to get the piano working--  certainly made my day!

Son #2's daughter--our Granddaughter  gave me the mug below----  for Christmas, --with a wee doggie stuck to the bottom of the mug--the cutest thing ever! As yu drink the coffee , the wee doggie appears--

I hope that you all were happy yesterday--Our day was filled with "love"
---  --"happiness"-----And  "joy"--AND----good food ---
I hope that it was the same for you all---- Was it?---
So, our daughter is driving up here---is going to help clear out some boxes---I think Santa asked her to come--
The above is so true here right now--- "LESS HOUSE, MORE HOME"--what happens when one downsizes---We all must celebrate however feels right for each one of us--Strong-----  Happy----Patient-Caring --MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL!

  1. How wonderful you have your piano working again!!! Bless the piano tuner!

OMG! That is an absolutely adorable mug!

Had a quiet Christmas, DH, Miss Lilly and I. Fire in the fireplace. Wonderful. White Christmas. No snow yesterday, but snow on the ground from previous storms. Today . . . foggy as the snow is melting.

Hope you have a wonderful visit w/your DD.

    Hugs and blessings

  3. Had a great Christmas! Fun, family, laughter, delicious food, but we were out of the house from noon until around 9, and I was tired after all the festivities and went to bed pretty early. Bf is headed back home, and I decided to take the day off from work today to recover, LOL

  6. Glad the piano is all better...now you can serenade the pup.
The cup is very cute...had to laugh at that one...I had a great time Christmas Eve over at my sons, then went back Christmas morning to open gifts, drat, I had forgotten my meds here otherwise would have spent the night with him, he was not happy when I had to drive home in the rain...lol....I think he worries too much...
Had a great meal on Christmas Eve, which he fixed the cheeseburgers and smoked turkey breast, and I did the rest at his house...Today, I am finishing a clean up job from last night, I dropped a jar candle and wax went everywhere, so had to clean up then vacumn...my laundry is now done so I'm off to run upstairs and fetch it...
We had a near miss today - the mail woman who is a SUB, nearly ran over Blue(grand-dog) my daughter chewed her out good and proper for driving so fast.
    Glad your daughter is coming....
??? Did you call the boys ???

  7. Hi Lynda! I am so happy your piano man came yesterday. It’s so good you had a nice day and that coffee mug is too cute! Oh, I hope Allison helps you get lots done. You will be settled in reading and resting in no time. My nephew and I picked up chinese and cold coffee for lunch. It was so good. Thought of you as you like chinese food and coffee and ice cream. Just like me. LOL Getting ice cream after dinner tomorrow night and going out looking at Christmas lights. A tradition with my nephew who is 16. He leaves Tuesday til Easter. Uhh!! Sent Ohio hugs with your daughter. Take care!

  8. It's Kathy. I like the idea of Less House, More Home. That's my goal for the new year. Yesterday was a rest day for me, today is taking care of me day. I saw my physical therapist this morning and I'm good to go. I still can't do everything but I can do most things! This afternoon I have a Pilates Private class. I'm gearing up to get back to my regular hour long class next month. We are having some rather mild weather - no sunshine but not so cold outside. I'm glad your daughter is coming to help! I love your piano and am so glad the Piano Man was able to bring it back to life! Have a good day.

  11. Oops, must have hit the wrong button. Anyway, I recently saw something which said "if aliens came here, and saw people walking dogs on leashes and picking up the poop and throwing it away, do you think they might wonder - who's in charge here?" Dot
