Hi Dear Lynda! Nice to see you! I wish nothing but the very best for you as you wrap things up there and in your travels. Lots of Ohio hugs being sent to you! Oh, and ice cream, too!
ReplyDeleteDear Lynda...on your way to an easier and more restful life. Can't wait to see the new place.!
ReplyDeleteNo, I didn't. 😇
ReplyDeleteSafe, safe travels for you as you set off on your new adventure!! You are brave, you are strong…it will all work out. My thoughts are with you and Fred as you say goodbye to the old (not easy) and forge ahead to your new residence! ❤️ Karen (Eissa7)
ReplyDeleteHi Lynda! Marti here. When is your last day there? I had thought it was this Thursday. Well, best of luck to you! It sounds like it has been so easy, maybe it hasn't been, but compared to my experiences... I know how it is for me. I typically start packing like a month in advance and sit around with boxes all around me. My last BIG move was from a house where my late husband and I lived, into a condo. My, he had so much stuff...a back basement full of tools, drill presses, and the like; like an idiot I just had 1-800-GOT-JUNK haul them away, a crawl space packed with dead printers and other dead small appliances, and all his model train stuff, big computer desk, tv, stand, loveseat, end tables, books, exercise equipment, etc. (Had a rec room in the basement with a built in bookcase), which of course I didn't have in the condo. We didn't have anyone to donate it all to. Then we had a grill and a patio table. They had two big huge trucks full of (mostly his) stuff. Now, I live very happily in a 1000 sq foot condo, what I intend to be my last home b4 I have to go into assisted living or worse, LOL
ReplyDeleteMuch love to you and himself. Hugs hugs hugs
ReplyDeleteIt's Kathy. Saying a prayer for you and himself that your move goes smoothly and you don't have to deal with any snow! We had flurries the other day which is still on the ground, but it is suppose to warm up a bit. I agree, we should have to move every few years. I'm pretty good at clearing things out but my husband, not so much! I'm so glad your sons are helping! Take care.
ReplyDeleteBig HUGS and much love to you as you begin the big journey to your new place. Wishing you all the very best and have my prayers said for a safe and snow-free trip to your new home. HUGS HUGS HUGS

Hi Lynda: Good to hear from you. Glad you're surviving the chaos that you're going through. Hope you'll be able to do the trip in one day. On the news they were showing snow up there tomorrow but at least your sons will be around to take care of it. Good luck and hope all goes well. Hugs Brenda
ReplyDeleteSo many warm wishes are going with you, every mile of the way! Glad your sons are pitching in! I had to smile at the discovery of an extra year of "youth" for you. My son's father always used to lie about what year he was born so he could pretend to be a year younger than his actual age... don't rightly remember whether he was born in '45 or '46, myself, but I probably have it written down somewhere.
ReplyDeleteI, too, can no longer worry about "dying young".
Lynda....GREAT blog. So happy to see a note. LOVED the funny inserts. Made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteThings are rolling along there. Glad to hear local sons pitching in a bit.
My prayers for a safe journey are with you all. My prayers for contentment, happiness and joy are with you both as you settle into your new home. I'm so very happy for you. Remember you are strong, loving, kind and IT WILL ALL BE OK.
LOVE, HUGS AND BLESSINGS
