-The Mail Lady told me yesterday that I looked like I had lost weight-- Holy Cow!

I turned on the I MAC just now, and a very very nice person sent an email , telling me how to reply to people who reply to my blogs-- so, I had to call Barb Whitehead, who I found out does not live on the East Coast as I thought she did, and she explained a lot to me, about how to reply to your replies.

Lord love a Duck! --- It does sound complicated doesn't it--but-- when she told me what to click on,  it really isn't as complicated as I thought! ---  You know, if it weren't for all the Spark people-- the people who were on Spark, and forced to quit--well, if it wasn't for them, I probably would not be blogging.

So, it is another "manic" Tuesday--and it's hot too!--- Tess and I did get our walk in--not too far--but--we did it--- and then I brushed her and tried to cut the fur from her , which seems to mat after she swims in the lake--Poor girl eh?---

And son #3 brought our new snow tires back from Sudbury--  It is hard to think of snow tires when the thermometer  is reading 32C ! We bought rims for these tires and the tires are being put on the new rims, as I type.

Yesterday Afternoon, a Granddaughter called to say that she was coming out with a friend on a motor bike--and wanted to swim off our dock-and "was it OK Gramma?"-----So, no nap for me--  Instead I went down with the 2 girls to watch them swim--The one girl had brought her speaker with the nicest music, so the Germans and I, "Be bopped" on the dock, making sure no-one drowned.  Everyday does seem like someone's adventure  out here---

This is Himself--in his "older than old" hat---  which seemed to disappear recently and will be replaced with the Indiana Jones chapeau -----

This is the guy that I married--- You know, he will be 93 soon! Lord love a Duck!

AND-----I am going to lose these excess pounds-- I CAN DO IT!

  2. Even though it is hot, you still had a nice day. Summer will be what is and glad you got out and enjoyed. Winter will be here soon enough and these times will just be faded memories. Enjoy those grandkids because as you know they will be all grown up too quickly. Have a great day today!

  3. Nice that the granddaughter brought a friend out to your place. You will lose the weight - stay positive! Good luck cutting Tess' fur. My pup mats too but she will not let me work on it. Have a good day. We won't be getting a lot more of this hot weather!

  5. It’s nice to see that someone has noticed your weight loss. A fun afternoon with your granddaughter and friend is a good way to spend the day. It’s hard to think about needing snow tires right now while it’s so hot but I’m sad to say winter will be coming. I will be glad when it does cool down a bit though as we are in a heat warning right now. Have a good day! 👍 ❄️

  10. Glad someone was able to tell you how to reply. . .I never figured it out when I was writing our blog when we went to Alaska a few years ago. I am hanging in there and losing very slowly now that I am Sparkless. I guess I have to count on myself more to do the right thing. It does feel lonely though without my Spark friends.
Hot here in NH for the next few days now that Henri (the Hurricane ) is gone.

  12. Yay for the mail lady noticing and saying something!!! I know we do it for our health, but it's nice to be noticed.

And another day to walk with Tess, a blessing. And your son brought your tires and is helping you be ready for the coming winter, another. And the granddaughter and friend coming to swim ... napskipping-worthy. Hopefully you got a little extra sleep last night. :)

It's so great to be able to stay in touch through blogs, share a bit of life and encouragement with others wanting to stay healthier.

    Happy Tuesday!!!

  14. I am so glad you are blogging here. It makes things seem a little mor 'normal'. And that's saying a lot in this pandemic age!

HOPE Tess and Beau are doing well. And of course, little Sushi, too.

  20. Sounds like a good day! You have lots of choices.
It’s Ozone day and dangerous heat index here in this part of Texas. And way too many Covid sick folks, and Spreaders around, not staying home! Mortuary trucks parked by some hospitals!

  21. Good evening, Lynda. Beth here. It is wise to shorten your walks with Tess when it is so hat. It's probably better for you as well. Be bopping made up for the shortened walk, I sure. You have a blessed evening. A storm is getting quite close so I better close. Until tomorrow.

  22. Lynda, that is so awesome that the mail lady has noticed you have lost weight. Congratulations. You can and will do it.

That is cool your granddaughter and a friend came out to swim. And you got extra exercise bopping to the music.

You should be proud of yourself learning all kinds of new things so we can stay in touch. I am amazed at all you do and learn. You are AWESOME!

I am sure everyone is fast asleep. Have a great day tomorrow

  25. Lynda I am so happy you are still writing your blogs. I don't always comment. Your stories spread joy to us all. It has been hot and humid here in south east Alabama. We've had a lot of afternoon storms and TS Fred came through. Hurricane Henri gave us some rain, but skipped by more to the east of us. Hugs, Patrisna
