-Unless I change my mind--Lordy Be!

Read the very bottom--"Unless I change my mind"--We can always "change the mind"! --But--(that big "butt" again)- right now--this morning, I am going to be amazing--AND----every day hereafter---Lordy Be! ---That IS a tall order!

Right now, I feel amazing-I walked Tess, the German, living on the edge, who did NOT do her business yesterday--Yesterday,  I came back home with her and reported it to Himself.

"She is getting plugged up-I knew it" he replied---Oh no-no no----  was my immediate reaction--- and I  fed her more of those wee pink pills to hopefully not allow any "plugging up"!

So, this morning, on our walk, I prayed to the good Lord above, as I walked--"Please God, help this poor dog do her business"---  (And I'm not really a very religious person yu know!)- ---but----  one must do what is necessary to help this dog stay in the land of the living!~

And, LORD LOVE A DUCK! ---You know what?----  She did her business-----and  I had to thank the Lord ---who must get all sorts of strange requests  in the early morning.

"You know what?" I said to Himself, "Maybe  there is nothing wrong with her. Maybe the vet was right--Maybe the lumps are just fatty  things"

Whatever,  this 11 yr old German Shepherd dog  made me put a spring in my step-- I actually danced down the driveway--Tess thought I had "flipped my lid"---  Mom's expression---I think we shall make it thru to-day!

  8. You could add some olive oil to her food every day. That should help things keep 'moving'.

  9. So happy to hear about Tess. You are right that it could have been just an off day. We all have them and I am sure our fur-babies do too. Have a lovely day!

  10. Glad Tess was able to "go" this morning! Not getting any younger... but seriously, "fatty lumps" was something my Diamond got as she aged, and we "lived with" the condition for at least a couple or three years. Tell Tess she's very special to your Sparkly friends! 💖

  12. Hey there friend, I often tell myself that in the morning. Thank you God for another amazing day. I am going to use it for good, both for myself & others. Keep giving Tess the exercise of your morning walk. It's good for her constitution (and your's too - Heh Heh) And while you're at it please take an extra few steps for those of us who can't. Hugs, Willow

  15. Maybe you need to add something to her diet, like an oil formulated for animals. And a probiotic as well, to help with her digestion.

  30. Yippee! It posted! Maybe I'll have to use my computer instead of my other devices. I found your blog on Sparks when you were having your cataract surgery. It actually convinced my to have mine done. It was very easy and thanks to you I believed it. I had one eye done and the second will be done soon. You are my hero!

  32. It’s really September, my goodness. We are in the midst of extreme heat wave, heat index up to 108. And high Ozone air quality. You can go out, but don’t breathe!

  33. It's nice to be regular animals or people!!! I prefer it that way! Makes my day very nice. I'm just glad I don't have to pick up after a dog or cat anymore.
