Hop out of Bed and put your Sass on!

It HAS to be a good day! Probably something will happen to-day to make us have a good day!--I feel it in my bones!-

Yesterday, I shovelled snow ALL day!-Our driveway snowplough guy never appeared--He is kind of "hit and miss"-- I was ready to fire him--but--Himself said I must give him more chances--so--at 93 yrs, Himself went out with our snowblower which is pretty scary to watch--

We got thru the day however-- Good thing that I am a strong woman! Lord love a Duck!--Well, one more day ion 2021 and it will be nice to start the new year-- AND--the days are getting longer--- and there is only January, February and March---and it will be Spring!---  And yu know what happens then?--
We just might forget  -----because we will be so happy to feel the warmer weather!-- ---There is always "hope" isn't there that things will improve-- no more snow--- the virus might be gone--and---our world will return to normal--whatever that is! --Until to-morrow then----

  1. OH my! Glad you and DH could get the snow plowing job done. **SIGH** So frustrating when someone we depend on doesn’t show up. Disappointing.

  5. oh dear, but you can count the snow shoveling as a great workout. I shoveled for just an hour yesterday and I am sore. Hope today is better.

  6. You are a strong and patient woman! I hope the snow-plowing guy will give more consideration to older people who really don't need to be outside shoveling and blowing snow.My goodness! Hold on to HOPE...we can't let go now. We've made it this far 🙌 Sorry your son is sick! Glad he's doing better. Have a nice day to all of you...hugs 🤗

  9. All of that snow shoveling/blowing keeps the two of you in great shape! Hope your guy shows up, though....it’s NO fun to have to do it repeatedly!😩. Take good care, stay warm, and enjoy the dwindling hours of 2021❤️ Eissa7

  10. I just love that everyday the day is a little longer. Hate taking the dog for a walk in the dark in the early evening. Be careful both of you with all the shoveling/blowing. It's heavy stuff and is much better left to a reliable snowplow guy - especially with all the snow you get!

  11. Lynda, I can picture Himself blowing snow with you watching! I am glad I wasn't there!

It will be great to see the New Year...with no more variants, I trust.

Hope Little Lopez can get through all the now, too.

It took me 20 minutes to clear my windshield yesterday. Luckily we got no more snow last night.

I am ready for spring. I bet you are, too.

No mention of the family (or famDAMily as a friend used to say), so I trust all is fine there.

    "See" you tomorrow. Have a restful night. {{{HUGS}}}

  12. I am grateful for so many wonderful things in my life. Mostly just waking up each morning. Wear a smile and just keep saying Yes! Whatever I have to look forward to today, I can handle it.

    Rest well Today!

  14. Gosh Fred is determined as you are.....lol
Happy New Year Lynda and Himself...wish you a terrific 2021.
Today was my mothers' birthday...wowzer...time flies.
We had a GOOD thing happen, we dodged tornadoes all evening yesterday, so the ones who touched down as close as 5 miles from us, and hit a few other places here in Alabama hurt no one, just thankful only property damage...

  15. You and Himself are a powerful team, you sure get a lot done outside! Thankful you can do it all, hope there are other snow removal people around though. Hard job, could be dangerous. Take care!

  16. Happy New Year to you, Himself and those doggies of yours! I'll be here sweating in near 36c weather here - about 95f - trying to stay cool. It will get better! Only January, February and March - then it will be Autumn and comfortable. Be careful and take care in that snow. Brr! Being from Saginaw, Michigan (your daughter would go by it on i75 if she could travel), I'm no stranger to snow. Not sure which I'd want today to be honest!

  17. We shoveled snow two days in a row and my husband snow blew. It's pretty good exercise but, we have nowhere the snow or the area you have to clear. Happy New Year to you and your family.
