You might --meet---the QUEEN!

We had a ton of snow , fall, overnight--  The above picture is taken from the Ness Cam-- of our driveway-I was trying to clear the bricks in front of the garage--Now it is raining---That will make quite mess!~  We won't be going to town to-day!---I don't even think that we could get out of the driveway!

The Tornados in Kentucky  looked like they did a great deal of damage--Our daughter in Ohio said they heard the sirens but their community was not hit! We have seen floods in British Columbia--fires before that ----I guess we are submersed  in "climate change", whether we like it or not--And I haven't even mentioned the new Omicron virus!

So-----I will change the subject here---  Sushi--the feral cat who came in from the cold, and lived on our top floor only, for 4 years, now comes down to the living room every evening--It's like a miracle--- Also, when we go to bed, we meet Sushi going , again, downstairs to the living room.

Here she is, last evening, peeking around the corner, deciding whether or not to come down--then---

down she comes---pretty cute!---Imagine if we hadn't brought her inside! For sure some wild animal would've eaten her--

So, I haven't heard from the Queen for a very long time! --  I wonder if she might come to my Birthday--Hmmmmmmm-------You know, it is on the 16th and--YOU ALL ARE INVITED!--  Son#2, the Air Canada Pilot will pick everyone up , in the Dreamliner-----but---  There may be snow---  but----  LORD LOVE A DUCK! YU might meet --THE QUEEN---

Now, did I change  the subject from all the horrible news , to-----  great news!!!!-- Remember to tell me the airport where Son #2 can pick yu up!

  3. Your birthday is the same as my baby sister who will be 61 this year. The closest real airport to me is Portland Maine . . .can't wait for the party! We are having an ice storm this morning . . .I barely was able to manage to walk the dog in the yard. It is suppose to warm up to the 50's tomorrow. . . .crazy right? My daughter had a harrowing night in Kentucky. . . she lost power but no damage to where she was staying. She was about 30 miles from the massive damage. Today she will be doing emergency response since she works for the state and is so close by.

  4. I would never miss your BD party & I look forward to your son picking me up in SW Ontario! Can I bring anything in the line of food??

I LOVE seeing Sushi coming downstairs now. The wee cat who came in out of the cold, knows how fortunate she is, she's just taking it slowly.

Hugs to all in your household.

  5. I love that after all this time Sushi is making her way down to the living room. My cat, who was my mom's cat that I inherited after mom passed, is also spending time with us lately. This is quite new for her. She is even hanging out with Daisy now and then. That sure is a lot of snow. We got about 5 inches but just a few miles east and south of us they got 20! Sure glad it missed us.

  11. He needs to stop at DTW which is Detroit, Michigan. It's really in Romulus but they call it Detroit Metro Airport. I'll be packed and waiting. I'd like an aisle seat please.

  17. Birthday Party! What is this your 37th birthday? LOL. I turned 60 this years and received my Seniors Card so now I can ride the buses for free during the off peak hours. Woot!

How adorable is Sushi? What does she make of the Taco Bell Puppy? I've been on the Dreamliner - my son managed to get me in the fancy business class, and as a United "Team Member's Mum", I was absolutely treated like Royalty. They gave me a glass of champagne and refilled it once or twice too. Those seats that turn into beds are amazing. I wouldn't expect that this time around but you never know! And if you're gonna dream big DREAM BIG! I'm not sure the Dreamliner would come into Adelaide so let your son know I'm happy to meet him in Sydney - once the border open. My son handles inventory for keeping the planes that arrive in Houston Texas stocked with whatever they need - whether it's parts, seat cushions, seat covers, you name it. That storm sure did look scary. My family is in Houston, Atlanta, Saginaw Michigan and Portland Oregon. The definitely got the wind in Michigan. My brother nearly lost the door to his car when he opened it! ((Hugs from DownUnder!))
