The lake is beginning to freeze--Of course it is getting colder! --- Of course, I am late AGAIN , blogging--Is it better late than never?--- Probably not! -----This little fellow is a "going concern"-- He is so quick-- He is upside down--- then right side up--and--finally, there he is! This morning, unbeknownst to me, when I went out the front door, (which leads to the sunroom--then outside-- ) well, he followed me, as the door doesn't close fast enough-- and he is so quick-- So, in I came, shut the door, and I heard him bark-- I called him, and he barked--- He was outside in the sunroom, and as much as I wanted to give him away this morning as he --well, you don't want to know!--- I was relieved to find him in the sunroom, crying, wanting back into the house --and, I guess I do love the wee guy, and even that surprised me-- ---I guess he knows that he belongs inside here!-Lord love a duck!--HE IS A LOT of WORK!

Your blogs are a treasure no matter the time of day! Congrats on the weight decrease! Little Lopez is probably helping in that department....Who has time to eat with that frisky pup to supervise! He is a cutie, though!❤️ Eissa7
ReplyDeleteYu are so good to eat the blog-- Sometimes I wonder if it is readable! ---- Yes, Lop[ez is helping me lose the weight-- busy with him--So nice to see yu on here-Thank yu-Lynda
DeleteGreat loss. WTG. Looks like Lopez will soon be too big for his bed. Christmas gift for him?? Winter is here but the geese have not all left. There are still a flock flying back and forth every day. They go west to the lake area in the morning and then back east every evening around 6. Looks like they will stay. Does that mean a short winter with not too much snow?
ReplyDeleteWillow--my friend---- Yes, Lopez' bed is getting too small-- I have a larger one from the other dogs but he chews it--- ---The geese have left here --Maybe they are at yer place-- Lynda
DeleteLopez is cute as ever, they grow up so fast.
ReplyDeleteWe go to get our booster shot in the morning...we are still careful when we go anywhere.
Have a great Wednesday
Lynda, I feel for you, concerning Lopez. My second Chihuahua did EVERYTHING that Lopez does, everything!! And she never fully trained, I'm sorry to say. I do hope Lopez does. He's mischieveous & fun, a typical Chi! :)
ReplyDeleteOur weather seems to mainly stay in the 30's (F), nippy but nice, especially with a beautiful sun like today!
Hugs to all of you!
Awwww, I imagine little Lopez was confused and scared! But glad you found him!
ReplyDeleteHURRAY on being down ½ lb.! Excellent work.
**SIGH** I know! Worried that the shot and the booster aren’t going to be enough against this variant. HOWEVER, the Merck Covid pill is still coming down the pike. We’ll see what happens w/that.
Hang in there w/wee Lopez.
hugs

Sun and 60 degrees in St.Louis today. Incredible for December 1st.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on weight loss YAY
Lopez...well...he's quite the handful
At least he didn't get outside and run off. I'm afraid Lopez is too much a handful for me to tackle. I admire all that you do to try to get that little guy trained. Still hoping he'll settle down and get with it SOON. Enjoy your day and the sunshine. Hugs and blessings.
Great on the weight loss.
ReplyDelete71 F now with high of 77 F expected this afternoon here in Central Texas.
so nice that yu have warm temps! --Nice to hear from yu-Lynda
DeleteGood for you on the weight loss, I love hearing about your success. My Daisy likes to lie upside down like that - they say it's because they trust where they are. My cat has done that when I take Daisy outside - she likes to sneak out the back door and then around the corner so I can't see her. She's been known to be outside for awhile before I realize I haven't seen her for awhile!
ReplyDeleteLove the pics of Lopez. With a face as cute as his it would be hard to not love him even when he gets into mischief. Enjoy the sunshine today!
ReplyDeleteOh, He is such a cutie! Pups can be so exasperating, but they just work right into our hearts and are such good company. How is Beau getting on with him?
ReplyDeleteYay for you losing!!! You're doing so well; I'm striving not to gain during this season, and hopefully can get myself back on track after all the holiday feasting is over.
I enjoy reading your blogs no matter what time you post them. Sunny here, with low of 51 and high of 71F. Last year we had snow right at Thanksgiving; one never knows!
Happy Wednesday!
Wow!---so nice that yu read the blogs--- Beau and Lopez are good together but Lopez chews Beaus legs so one day he will get nipped!--Lynda
DeleteLopez has it right: Fresh air sometimes, warmth, toys, full tummy and proximity to those we love and who love us...those are the things that are important! {{{HUGS}}}
ReplyDeleteHoping Lopez is chipped, and perhaps get some kind of thing on him, in case he gets out and lost, so it will help you find him. Good luck…
ReplyDeleteLittle Lopez is quite a handful. But he is still puppy. Things will get better - some time! But look at how he helps you lose weight. Must have been real bad today as you didn't mention what he did. Maybe he'll think he got shut out for being bad!! This Covid is unbelievable. Wonder if it will ever finish!
ReplyDeleteLynda, I love your blogs. I enjoy hearing how all of you are doing. Makes me feel like I have family around who is telling me all about their life.
ReplyDeleteLopez is so cute. Yes he is a handful but because he is you are still losing weight. You have lost most of this weight have you got him and I am sure you will lose the rest as he continues to grow and add frustration and also joy to your life.
Have a great day
Not a care in the world... because he has YOU, taking care of him! And yes, you have taken him into your heart and love little Lopez. You're a sweetie, Lynda!
ReplyDeleteThey are quick when they are babies aren't they or did you forget? LOL!
ReplyDeleteThat little Señor López is a bundle of joy! Beautiful photos. I hope your day was a wonderful one. ((hugs))
ReplyDeleteLopez is beyond adorably cute 🥰. Hang in there, a day at a time. ❤️
ReplyDeleteOne thing about dogs.....they keep us on our toes! And congrats on the weight loss. Woo hoo.
ReplyDeleteLynda, It has been a few days since I commented on your blogs. I read them every day, I enjoy them very much. I don't want you to think I have forgotten you. I couldn't do that.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the rest of your evening
Beth Mosko
Beth--- so nice to see yu--Lynda
DeleteTakes a little training to get the Chis' to learn but I am glad he "talks" when you call him. We can leave doors open here in our TX. home and Daisy stands and looks out. Won't leave until she is given permission. We lost our other Chi but had many good laughs. She got into the bedroom but couldn't get out by herself. So she barked and Daisy went up, opened the door to let Keeleigh out. Lopez will get there!
ReplyDeleteBlogs sure make me feel better.........thanks Lynda.
ReplyDeleteThose puppies! They sure do take a lot of patience!
ReplyDeleteI don't know about the animals not having a care in the world. If they didn't have someone that loved them and cared for them they would become ferral and constantly on the move to find food and shelter. You know how long it took to tame Sushi. You are a good woman Lynda! With lots of love to give.(((HUGS)))
