Believe in Yourself--inhale-Don't Give Up

-I just cannot unlove you all! ---  isn't it nice to know that someone loves you?-- It is "Earth Day" to-day, whatever that means--perhaps it means to think about how to stop Climate change-- the little things each of us can do ----

To-day we have sunshine-- It takes such a difference when one sees the sun. Yesterday was such a cold wet sloppy day outside and inside I was panicking  with too many errands to run--The Covid seems to be everywhere  in town--The Lady who usually is before me at the hairdresser was not there--Apparently she has Covid--Apartment buildings are closed in town here, because there is too much Covid--The Drs clinic has it too--So far, himself and I have managed to avoid it, and hopefully we will continue to do that!

This crate was donated to us from son #4 and wife. It belonged to their dog who is now passed---  AND---Houdini-or-- Lopez--- cannot break out of it---  so--FINALLY--himself and I get a break when we go to town, if we want to leave the wee Chihuahua--he will be safe and Beau can dog sit him.--I bought a new mattress for the crate  --$50- Everything to-day costs "an arm and a leg"--(Mom's expression!)

We were down to feed Watson, (Son#1's cat)-- and the fox was at their door again---  I don't like that as I'm afraid he will come right up to me and he is a wild animal--no shots----

I like the above--- Yu know that yu never ever have to worry--because I am the world's best worrier-- I am trying however  to BELIEVE --INHALE--- HAVE THE FAITH---FIGHT  --BE STRONG_--and I think--that I am winning-- am a surviver--I try to " stick to my guns"- (Mom's expression" of course)_fight for  "ME more----Everyday brings more to worry about--- and I must survive!

  1. Oh do be careful about that fox, Lynda, he could be rabid. Do you think he sits there trying to figure out a way to get inside to Watson?

Nice to have a crate for Lopez on those times that you'd rather not take him with you. I had one for my wee Chihuahua too, I put a blanket over the top and that was her little 'den' that she liked to sleep in at night plus go to during the day at times.

    Have a nice weekend!
Love & hugs to you, Fred and your fur babies xoxo

  3. Those crates are perfect! The breeder should have given you that kind in the beginning. Lots of parents of tiny dogs use that for them to rest in, their own little cave. That breeder is in it for the money. Be careful with that Covid surge!

  4. Awww UofM! And what a great bunch of words those are for when the winds of life get a bit much. And just today I was wearing my 'Believe in Yourself' tshirt. I needed it because I went to a dance - exercise class for over 50's. There I am with my walking stick and NO rhythm whatsoever, just doing my best to follow along on all the moves - and doing a really poor job of it but it's fun and different and good for me. But mostly I'm in it for the FUN. My cane makes a bad waltz partner (we were doing waltz steps to some fast music) so the teacher came over and let me know I could just move side to side rather than try to do the four corner steps. And. I will have a personal carer soon. I found where I could use my own meagre savings to pay for help I need one or two hours a week. This has been needed 'forever' now but it's finally going to happen. So I had a good day - and even better. My ex-husband's wife who just had surgery for breast cancer - had a pet scan to see if there was cancer anywhere else and it came back negative! That was the best news. Mike is the father of my kids and a really good guy and I didn't want for he and his wife to go through all this with cancer, and was afraid he'd lose her like I lost my husband. We may not be married but I really do care what happens to him and the woman who decided to be his one and only. So Spring must surely be on it's way to you. I can feel the winter coming here - all the way to my numb finger tips. Take care!

  5. I love that you have a safe crate for Lopez, now. And I do hope that fox stops sitting there waiting for you at your son's place. Yikes... you are right, the worry is that he could be ill and pass that along.

Hope you and Himself stay safe from your local surge. Hope that if you do succumb it's one of those mild cases that just up your antibodies, not a more serious issue! After all, that's why you've been up to date with your shots.

    Happy Earth day!

  6. The fox would concern me greatly. Do y'all have any sort of animal control organization in your area that could check it out? Be careful.

  8. Love your slogans.
Always much to be grateful for.
Hoping Covid stays away from you two.
Keep your distance from that fox.
The crate for Lopez is great. Even when you are gone from home he could go in there so himself doesn't loose track of him.
    Have a great day.
No worries, be happy. Worry won't change IT.
    hugs dear lady

  9. So yesterday the Queen was 96 years old. Did you send her a birthday card? I made an appt. for a haircut but she comes to my house. When she said she was just getting over Covid and would come next week I asked her if she would wait a couple more weeks. I would rather just let my hair be as they are than risk Covid. Bet Lopez will love his new crate.

So glad that Lopez has a safe haven to rest in when you’re away....that’s one less thing for you to worry about! Yikes...a fox waiting at the door! Have a peaceful, calm Friday❤️

  11. I'm glad you now have a crate that Lopez can't break out of. It will take a little bit of the worry away. I'm so sorry your town is experiencing so much COVID right now. I am afraid this will color our lives for a long time to come. I just wish it would go away!

  13. My dog has a crate like that. She sleeps there at night and goes in there when I go out. She also goes in when she wants to for whatever reason. Watch out for the fox - you never know what he has or what he is after. Be careful with so much Covid around up there.

  14. It is still wet and sloppy here, but I BELIEVE in spring!

Glad you now have the option to leave the homestead without your wee Lopez. He will be well behaved for Beau. If he cries, Beau will probably soothe him (or figure out how to open the crate from the outside).

I can bet my second booster now for covid. May do that. Gonna look up the side effects first.

    Don't worry, honey...that brings more to worry about. Think of the positive and trust...{{{HUGS}}}

  15. A couple of nice Spring days here but the rain is coming back next week. We had a crate for our Newf but she was a Houdini and could always find a way out so we stopped using it because we didn't want her to get hurt escaping.

  16. Do be careful with the fox...perhaps Animal Control should be notified
if you have one there.......my guess is it hears the cat and is looking
for dinner...or maybe it likes the radio playing????
Also good that you have the pooch corralled so you can safely leave the house.
