Make to-day a really good day!

 We have sunshine--It is Sunday--a day to rest (as if eh?)----Lopez and I walked the back road and I could hear a robin singing--I couldn't see it tho--The Robins must be around here already.-----
As you can see from the picture of Son#3's dog, Apollo, here, our lake is still frozen--no ice huts allowed on it now tho, as the ice is thinning--

As Mom used to say, "all is well on the Western front"-- so far, to-day! Isn't it funny how all her expressions roll thru my head?-- It makes one wonder if  people in Heaven are watching us--????---sending their thoughts our way---

Isn't that so true?--  When there is a bad day, I suppose it isn't the end of the world-(Mom's expression again!)-  because,  I really do learn from my crazy mistakes , to never do whatever again!---

Did  I tell you that I heard, then saw, geese yesterday-?---  just a small "V"--  They were heading north--and, as I drove into town, there was a flock of them  around a small pond, where the water was open-- So--- nature , in spite of all the problems in the world,  is all around us, doing what nature does --

  1. Linda: How nice to hear a Robin, even if you couldn’t see it! Spring is coming. Slowly, but surely.

    OHhhh, sometimes I believe Mom and Dad channel their thoughts to my head and out my mouth! LOL

    Oh, that’s a sign of Spring that you saw the geese, right!?! Nice.

    Here’s to a wonderful Sunday for you and DH, Sushi, Beau and Lopez.

  2. Glad you finally saw the geese, and heard the Robin, sounds like something is changing for you at last! Thank goodness! Enjoy your day. We still have those bad, fire spreading winds here in north Texas.

  5. It seems (except for us having snow all melted) you are seeing more signs of spring than we are in Minnesota. I am still watching for the trees to bud. Since I've been a small girl that has been the happiest day in the year to me...and then come my lilacs.

    Apollo is precious. My son had a dog with that name.

    I remember my mom's expressions and grandma's too. I was about to do a Kindle book through Amazon of Mommyisms...and I discovered it had already been done.

    Have a great week ahead...all 5 of you! {{{HUGS}}}
