My brain has too many tabs open.

This is WATSON--named after Himself's Dad-- I am looking after this fellow until his parents (Son#1 and wife)--  return from Jamaica--This morning , Watson met me at his front door-- You see, he is lonely--He is all alone in his beautiful home, with no music--no noise --and only me, checking  on him twice a day. I searched high and low for as radio, which I am learning, is "a thing of the past"-- no radio to be found in his house!---  I saw a TV , hooked up to a satellite  dish outside, but I was afraid to mess with that! ---Poor fellow!---

I returned home to find Lopez  tied in our kitchen screaming bloody murder (Mom's expression of course)- I quickly took him out he  and he had diarrhea, which is from Himself feeding him Beau's cookies while I was down the road with Watson--So--I "laid down the law" there with Himself-- (Mom's expression again!)

We have snow falling---  hard to believe eh?---Eventually this too shall pass!

Sadie  that cleaning Lady is here (who is , as yu know, really , ME)- And, one more thing, I heard on CBC radio this morning that a lot of birds are dying, because of "Avian Flu"----  Maybe that is why we do not see  robins --or geese-- I just thought I'd throw that in-LOL----Lord love a Duck!--One more thing to think about--   hugs to you all--

  1. Awwwww, poor Watson! WE always leave a radio (yup . . . we have 2) or TV on for company.

OH my. . . good you laid down the law about little Lopez. *SIGH*

Yes, the price of eggs and chicken are going to go up astronomically w/the avian flu. **SIGH** Not something we needed to happen!

Here’s to a more calm Tuesday!

  3. We are getting rain and not snow but plenty of rain. The dog and I were soaked after our walk this morning. Now I am just hunkering down and waiting for it to end.

  4. Watson is BEAUTIFUL. Poor guy is lonely but he's happy to see YOU. Give him some extra loving. He'll be fine. Cats sleep probably 20 hrs a day.
Oh oh himself got "the talk". LOL always something happening at your house.
Hoping you and Sadie have a peaceful day.
Yes, Avian bird flu is supposed to drive up prices on chickens and eggs...like we need another reason for higher prices.
    Hoping your weather improves SOON.
Its cold in St.Louis...in the 30s but the sun is out. More rain coming.
    Hugs dear lady.

  7. That Avian flu has been plaguing our chicken outfits several months all ready, millions killed, they have to kill off the whole company. Egg breeders and meat farms too. Chicken prices going up already, Tyson has been affected, too. Poor kitty, can you bring a radio from home over? They should have thought about that. Does Himself have the ability to remember when you lay down the law, each time? My goodness, you have to be on your toes all the time at home. Sorry.

  8. Glad I have a couple of radios - didn't know they have gone "out of style". Watson is pretty but right now is pretty lonely - poor guy. Will be really glad when him family comes home. Poor Lopez - himself just doesn't know what to do with him. Your life is so busy!

  10. Poor precious Watson! Too bad you can't watch him at your house. I do know, though, that cats prefer their own environment. Did you sing to him, cuddle him...?

Yes, we had sleety snow, too, but it is gone now.

Tomorrow I have to drive to the Minneapolis VA for appointments. I has a 99% chance of rain. The drive is almost 50 miles.

Did you tell Himself that if he causes Lopez to have diarrhea again he can be the clean-up person? ;-)

Keep laying down the law, Lynda...and enjoy the power!

  11. Watson is beautiful! My mom always turned on the radio when she left the house to keep her cats company while she was gone. I want to visit my daughter who is 1250 miles away this summer but I don't know what will happen to my cat. She needs to eat soft cat food twice a day and she raises bloody hell if I don't get it down quickly enough. No one lives close enough for me to ask them to help out. I might have to hire a cat sitter!!! It's nice of you to take care of your son's cat!

  13. What a beautiful cat Watson is. I imagine he's sitting on a window watching the world go by and napping the rest.

Poor Lopez. He was probably glad you came back.

  15. Poor Watson. Cats really do like people! In fact, my son read somewhere that given the choice between being with other cats and being with a human they will often pick the human. And yes, it would be nice if there was a radio going for him during his "alone time". At least he has you every so often!
