-I'm tired of being tired!

Easter Monday--WE DO NOT HAVE SNOW FALLING! --  Lord love a Duck! I am ecstatic! ---I was down the road to feed the cat in Son#1's house-- Watson is his name--named after Himself's Dad-- Watson met me at the door--and what beautiful cat he is! --When I go down this evening, I must take a picture of him!---his fur looks like Angora and it is long and white!  They are vacationing in Jamaica.

These 2 bottom  pictures were sent from them--- --looks nice doesn't it?-----  -especially compared to here------(the top photo) They flew on the Dreamliner, and it was 3.5 hrs from Toronto---quite fast!
It has been a good Easter weekend here--cool---  no sun---  but -----no blizzards and I have been able to get outside to clean up a bit of the yard--The driveway finally has no snow on it--
I cannot stop watching pictures of Ukraine and I silently pray for the people there. I cannot imagine how terrified their children must feel! ---  I want to help them--- I want to hug them---I want all the fighting to stop--I want peaceful living for them. I just cannot imagine  how they  survive---so I silently pray for them--
Sometimes, doncha jess feel like this??

  2. Perfect sentiment for the day, week , year. Not sure what I need to get out of the funk I have been in lately. Glad your snow is melting. The storm that is going to bring some snow to Northern NH is going to be mostly rain for us.

  3. Your last post hit the nail right on the head. I often feel like that but then I remember life is what I make it so I just keep on keeping on and doing the best I can. On Friday afternoon we had a wind go through and it took down a big part of a huge tree next door where we used to live. Happy to say it is not my worry anymore. Now today they are calling for strong winds and snow again. Wonder if it will take the rest of the tree down. Sitting here waiting for wind & snow and dreaming of warmer places.

  4. Yes, I do feel just like that picture. I loved seeing the two photos from Jamaica. So beautiful and it looks so warm. Cold and snowing here... AGAIN! I wonder if it will EVER stop snowing. It's not much, barely enough to cover the ground, but snow is snow!!! Have a great day.

  5. Jamaica is so beautiful! Reminds me of Hawaii!

Can't wait to see Watson. I love all animals, but now have a cat. I am on the IHEARTCATS Facebook group.

    The answer I've learned about crying, worrying, etc. is to on purpose choose a better thought...count your blessings...and feel the joy in your life! {{{HUGS}}}

  6. Sometimes the emotion is just too much, isn't it? So escaping for a while is a good thing, and aren't we lucky that we can?

Watching the Boston Marathon coverage, there was a man carrying the flag of Ukraine across the finish line, when he got there. We do what we can and are grateful.

Your son's kitty Watson sounds adorable.

Gosh, your kids get around. Jamaica looks beautiful.
NICE driveway that we can finally SEE!
We get to choose our attitude and things go better when we can focus on our gratitude and blessings. At times. Most of us feel tired of being tired but this, too, shall pass.
No snow gets a big YAY
Have a great day. Play your piano.

  11. I don't believe it - it is snowing here quite a bit. As it's been warm it shouldn't stay but may have overnight. Hope your son and his family are not flying Sunwing as they are not flying anywhere due to some computer issue and everyone is stuck everywhere. Pictures look nice though. Much better than here. Driveway is lookin good. Isn't Ukraine horrible - I don't think Putin is going to stop until all are dead and he has what he wants. Can't believe no one can stop him! Hope more. Supposed to be a bunch coming to Canada but haven't heard much other than a few families for cancer treatment for a child. Hope
    easter was good.

  12. I really don't let the bad things in, I can't, it's not good for my mental health. I don't really pay any attention to the war in Ukraine, other than briefly glance at the headlines. I can't do anything about it, and so why dwell on it? I'm too busy going about my day to day things. Try that. I don't watch the news, I don't really read the news, just the headlines. Happiness is really up to you. Dwell on happy thoughts. Leave the rest. :)

  13. It's hard not to have your heart break for what is happening over in Ukraine. You don't want to watch it, but you also can't hide from it. The one thing I always tell myself is not to let things get to me that I cannot control.

How wonderful it would be to be in a place with lots of sun, heat and ocean. I think we all wish we could be where your son is at.

I am totally like you. Praying for those suffering . . . and really, that’s ALL of us . . . with the Russian atrocities. **SIGH**

Love the last meme. Says it all.
