Don't let worries cloud your day!

It's good Friday- Easter Sunday weekend---It's a great day to have a good day---We are so fortunate to live where we live----I tell Sushi the cat (who came in from the cold) that everyday--altho I know that Sushi appreciates the warmth of her home.

Yesterday , "Hair Day"---was SO SO good--just to get out and away from the house, and to speak to people , and then to arrive home, feeling like a "Queen"--well--sorta---and Himself managed quite well with little Lopez. I showed him how to allow little Lopez out into the living room, BUT WATCH HIM_-watch that he doesn't chew the rug or choke on whatever---Big Beau kind of babysits him--He adores big Beau---When I arrived back home, all had gone well-

 Son #3 begins his long trip back home to-morrow, from Hawaii , and Son#1, leaves for Jamaica . I have the privilege of looking after his cat, Watson, while he is away. Watson was named after Himself''s father. Funny how people name their pets  after family members who have passed-- My brother has a dog called , "Olive", named after my Dad's sister. My Mom, --her name was "Ila"--had a dog named after her--Himself and I tend to call our animals names of food---How on earth did I ever get onto this?-

-I stepped onto the scalers this A.M., and the weight is --UP---Lord love a duck! --Well, I guess I kinda sorta try, and that really isn't good enough--so, I really will get rid of the "KINDA"---- and the "SORTA" trying , and try harder---'specially in the evening in that easy chair, after dinner--

I must be strong--I must stay positive --  and, you never know--One day the Queen just might call me to go there for tea--or--something--Maybe she doesn't have my number---??---  Oh, One more thing--  The following is borrowed from a friend who saw it on her friend's blog--and--I found it pretty special--

  4. My niece had trouble pronouncing L's when she was fairly young and she would get excited whenever she saw a Yadybug so we all call them that now.

  8. Nice weather here in NH so I was outside doing some Springtime tasks . . . the sun felt so nice even though it was breezy. You get your hair done every week? I only go every 5 weeks for a cut. My mother used to get hers done every week when she was working.

  9. I loved the aside about the naming of pets... I supposed it's better to name them after loved ones than after a TV Show? (The Prisoner, my cat, is named after the Patrick McGoohan series by that name).

    Hope you have a wonderful Easter and that your sons have safe, smooth travels.

  11. I always tend to name my pets after names I would have named my kids - I never had any kids. Except for one dog we named Muffin b/c she was blonde, the color of a toasted English Muffin. And I go by names that sound comforting to me - Muff, it sounds good, Tucker - you tuck someone in, etc.

    Have a great Easter!

  12. I have white Daisy's in my back flower garden that faithfully come back every year (if the rabbits don't eat them). The summer we were going to get my Daisy I was trying to think of a good name for her and I saw those lovely Daisy's blooming so beautifully. So she is my little Daisy always! Happy Easter! It feels more like Christmas here but there's hope that by the end of next week we just might have spring!

  13. Gosh, Lynda, I never heard of food named Beau, Lopez or Tess. I've had Sushi, though ;-)

    Wish I could get my hair done every month...sometimes I trim it myself as I don't like it hanging in my eyes or tickling my ears.

    Seems all of you had a good day. I'm glad!

    The weight will come off if you believe it will!

    Happy Easter! Happy Spring! {{{HUGS}}}
